"Come on, Khloe! It will be fun!" Anya was trying so hard to pull me up from the couch
"Nah. Never" I answered flatly. She frustratingly let go of my hand and sat inches away from me
She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. I can feel the heaviness of her stare even though my eyes still focused on the TV series that I am watching
"It's just a night! Hindi ka naman titira roon ng ilang linggo! We will just attend the party and after that we will go home!"
That damn party. She keeps nagging me about it. I already told her that I'm not in the mood but she's so damn persistent. Why she couldn't understand that I don't want to go?
"Why don't you go alone?"
She scoffed and slammed her back against the backrest
"Kung pwede lang ginawa ko na. Westley is such a dick for giving that kind of condition. I need to bring a friend so I could enter the party"
Nothing new. Westley, a jackass childhood friend of ours really loves to annoy us
"Just break your friendship with him"
"I can't do that! He's our friend. Kahit ganoon ang gagong yun ay kaibigan pa rin naman natin yun"
I rolled my eyes
"Come on, Khloe! Just this one please!" pagpupumilit nya
"I don't want to waste my two days break, Anya" pagpapaintindi ko sa kanya. We will have no classes on Saturday so it would be a good opportunity to rest and do things that I wanted. No Logan means no stress. Nagsasawa na rin talaga ako minsan na makipagtalo sa isang iyon
Anya held both of my hands and when I turned to face her, I was greeted with her pleading eyes
"You will not waste your time. It's a party! It's fun!" she pouted her lips
"Don't do that again. You look stupid" I pointed her lips. She's a beauty but for me she looks like an idiot in my eyes right now
"Grabe ka naman! Ang dami kayang nagsasabing ang ganda ko. Hindi dahil kaibigan kita ay may free pass ka na laitin ako"
I arched an eyebrow
"Okay fine! I am sometimes harsh on you too"
She put her gaze on me and wiggled her brows
"It's a yes, right?"
If I say no, hindi nya ako titigilan. I will just stay in that party for about one to two hours and after that, I will go home. If Anya wanted to stay, I will let her
"Hmmm... yeah" I answered. Ibinalik ko ulit ang tingin sa pinapanood ko
Bigla akong niyakap ni Anya ng mahigpit
"Thank you best friend!" she cheerfully said
"Now that you get what you want, leave me alone. Mamaya pa naman ang party na sinasabi mo, right?"
She nodded and let go of me
"I will just prepare my stuff!" she giggled and ran to her room
Napailing na lang ako. She's being hyper again. Pinagpatuloy ko na lang ang panonood ko. In the midst of watching, I was interrupted by a message from my phone. Curious of who might it be, I checked it
'Can I borrow your notes?'
That damn Logan. Hindi nya na titigilan ang pambubwisit sa akin?
'No'
I replied
Ibababa ko na sana ang phone ko nang bigla ulit itong tumunog
