Chapter 10- spotlight

You wrapped Rick's gift up and set out your ballgown and after party outfits.

You arrived at the ball and you saw Rick smile at you  like a loon.

"My god, you are so beautiful" he said kissing your cheeks

"Happy birthday babe" you said handing him the box.

"May I have this dance" he asked.
"Sure"

You both went to the dance floor and started dancing.

The spotlight was on you both. It felt like you were in a movie.

Suddenly the spotlight was on the entrance .

Everyone started murmuring.

'What's this' you thought.

The spotlight was on a lady who had the most beautiful ballgown you've  ever seen. That dress must have cost a lot.

She walked directly to Rick and said "May I have this dance?"
He took a deep breath and started dancing with her.

The whole time you were thinking "what the fuck".

You went to a corner and took a glass of wine.

"He loves you so don't worry" Jake said.
"Then why did he leave me to go dance with her" you said.

" She can be very persuasive" he said taking a gulp of wine.

You and Jake have formed a really nice friendship. Even though momentarily you want to rip his pants off and let him fuck you.

'YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!!' Your sub-self said to you.

"Wait. Did anything happen with you two?" You asked cos you noticed his reaction.

"She seduced me , got me in bed. She got caught and said I took advantage of her while she was drunk" he said. "It's sad that we fall for the same girls" he added.

"Oh" you said.   'Fall for the same girl?' You thought .

The lady stole Rick away from you for most of the night .

The after party starts soon and you needed to change. Rick left for the after party without you.

"Hey can I change in your room?" You asked Jake.

"Sure, I'll take you" he said.

You got to his room and looked around.

"Do you have OCD or something" you said .

Everything was well arranged. Nothing was out of place .

"Well I like my things neatly kept" he said.
You watched him sit on the bed .
"Are you gonna watch me change?" You said.
"I don't mind" he teased 
"Well it won't be anything you haven't seen before" you teased back.

"I'll wait for you, you could go change in the bathroom" he said adjusting in his seat.

You went into the bathroom with your things and left the door slightly open.
It's dangerous, you know . But fuck it.

You turned your back to the door and took off all of your clothes down to your underwear.

You turned to face the door and saw him watching you. His mouth parted a bit .
He stood up and walked towards you.

He raked your body hungrily . You could see his chest slightly rise and fall.
"You didn't close the door" he said and shut the door.

That wasn't what you expected.
You expected him to want you, not to close the goddamn door.

You are a mess and you know it.
You changed into your swim wear then wore a see through short dress over it and went back into the room.

"Don't start what you can't finish , Mae. I won't be able to let you go if I taste you again" he said and left .
