SYNOPSIS!

SHE RECOGNIZES THE SKILLFULLNESS OF THE KILLS.

The Avengers had been tasked with taking down a serial killer. Which, in itself, isn't anything too out of the ordinary. They take down murderers all the time.

The odd thing is the level of care put into each kill.

All 206 bones broken. Words are written out in blood. Bodies decorated in patterns created by gunshots. They're unique, thought out, scarily so. And every scene has one piece of evidence—

A white slip of paper imbedded in the heart of the victim that reads "I'm not done." Not to mention, the words are written in Russian.

The killer earns the name "The Black Dahlia" because of the grotesque manner of the kills. And even though all the media continues to spread mindless rumors, Natasha Romanoff knows the truth. Because she had been in that position nearly a decade ago. The only difference is that the Black Dahlia doesn't have a Clint Barton to clean off the blood and bring her to the light.

Yet.

the crimes you committed...
they were the most beautiful crimes I've seen.
And they're the same beautiful crimes that I did, too. ❞

{ AUTHOR'S NOTES }

Hey, guys! Thank you for reading yet another
Natasha Romanoff-based fic.
I swear, I'll write about another character next time,
but I just love Nat sm LMAO
Anyways, there's a lot more swearing
and themes of violence in this book,
so read at your own risk!
(Also, this fic is literally covers the Red Room.
That's an entirely different set of warnings by itself.)
Also, please know that there's mentions of
death, blood, mental illness,
and suicidal thoughts in this book
(I'll let you know if you're getting close to the
suicidal thoughts)
If any of these topics trigger you,
click off of this book!

I really hope you enjoy Adelina and Natasha's journey
just as much as I enjoyed writing it!
