ground zero, all eyes on me
if only i knew what it is they see
i couldn't help but disagree
that i felt anything but free
ground zero, all eyes on screens
about a dozen miles in between
me and the place where i would be
had everything gone the way it seemed
new heights, new limits
new places in the world to visit
it had honestly been a minute
but i was glad to be back in it
i've reached my peak, my thoughts illicit
so many things the world would prohibit
but little did i know this was just a snippet
of the many things my mind would inhibit
