Her Designer - Daerin

5th Chapter

I was shocked by her sudden request because I had only started working here for like two days! But I guess I had to agree at this point.

"S-sure Ms. Marsh but why?"

"Because you seem like you know what you'r doing and because you wont really be my assistant and just like my designer." she replied and smiled at me. I couldn't help but blush so I hid my face in my palm. I saw Soobin looking at us furiously but I didn't know why so I went up to him.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah i'm fine."

"Okay then. So how is it working with Ms. Chou?" I asked him as we sat down somewhere.

"Its fine I guess. She and her girlfriend are quite close." he replied and chuckled. Just then Ms. Chou said that they would be going so we waved goodbye as they left.

"Mina?" Ms. Marsh suddenly blurted out.

"Hm?"

"You can leave early again I have plans but Haerin, stay." she said and I looked at her confusedly.

"Danielle I can't just leave like that two days in a row! Im your manager. You'r not my manager."

"I know but please? I want you to rest before Paris." Ms. Marsh begged and Mina finally gave in.

"Fine but don't do anything stupid." she said and left which only left me and Ms. Marsh.

"Come on let's go out somewhere." she said which made me shocked.

"Where Ms. Marsh?"

"Maybe to the new fair?" she asked me and I nodded. Why would she want to go to the fair at this time?

We went in to her car but this time she was driving. She drove us to the new fair. She bought some tickets and we went on a roller coaster.

"Are you scared of heights?" she asked me and I nodded my head as in no.

"Then we could go ride that roller coaster?" she asked and I nodded.

We went on the roller coaster and I was screaming like crazy. I didn't even know why I was here but who cares! The ride stopped and we got off while laughing like crazy. We went to a game where you squirt water and get duckies down and if you manage to get them all down, you win a prize.

"I'll try." Ms. Marsh said and grabbed the squirt gun. She managed to win and got a very soft cuddly bear that I really wanted. I was surprised when she gave it to me.

"Why-"

"I just want to." she replied and I nodded. 

We did this for quite a while until it was 10 pm. We went out of the fair and started walking. She looked like she has been wanting to ask me something but I didn't say anything about it.

"Hey Haerin?" she finally said.

"Yes Ms. Marsh?"

"Who was that girl yesterday. That was beating you up?" she asked and I suddenly remembered everything that I had forgotten.

"That? Its not important-"

"It is. Please tell me, Haerin." she pleaded and I couldn't resist her cuteness.

"It was Ryujin. My ex. She still hated me for breaking up with her."

"You should do something about it!"

"Like? I have no power. Im poor on top of all that."

"I'll help you. After Paris." she replied and I was going to refuse but she shut me up by placing her index finger on my lips.

We sat at a bench as I looked up at the stars. I always remember my parents and start to cry after I look at them, so I started to shed some tears. I tried to hold them back but that only made Ms. Marsh a lot more worried.

"Are you okay?" she asked me.

"Y-yeah I am but-" before I could even finish, she wrapped her arms around me and hugged me.

"Cry, cry until you feel better." she said and I couldn't help but cry my heart out while hugging her. 

She smelled really nice and I was glad that the paparazzi didn't notice us. I had ruined her designer jacket so I backed away since I thought she would get mad.

"Im so sorry Ms. Marsh." I said and got a tissue from my purse. I was about to wipe it off when her hand stopped mine.

"Don't apologize. I told you to cry didn't I?" she said.

We went to her car and she was about to drop me off. She looked so pretty and I had just only noticed. How stupid of me.

"Goodnight." she said.

"Goodnight Ms. Marsh."
