(oc) ends up getting their body modified by a mysterious figure for some reason (manipulation, self-hatred, etc)— and that causes them to miss practice.

(crush) ends up getting worried and goes out to find them. however, they didn't expect (oc) to find them first.. especially while the other looked incredibly different.
