Colby's POV

I dialed the hospital's number while Sam sped down the highway. The closest hospital was 30 minutes away.

Operater: "St. Bills Hospital how may I help you?"

Colby: "My girlfriend has a fainting disorder and she hasn't been feeling well today and we were doing down the stairs and she's fainted but I caught her so I sat down on the stairs holding her, waiting for her to wake up but then she started bleeding out of both her nostrils and its not stopping so were on our way to you but we're 30 minutes away and I don't know what to do." I said in one breath.

Operater: "Oh... well uhm... start by opening her mouth and squeezing her nose shut. If it's still bleeding after 5 minutes, call me back."
Then she hung up.
"Oh my FUCKING GOD." I yelled.
"What?" Sam said from the driver's seat. "The stupid ass operater just told me to open her mouth and squeeze her nose and then just hung up." I said angrily. Sam murmured something under his breath and sped up. I did what the lady said and waited.
After about 3 minutes, her nose stopped bleeding but she still wasn't awake. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. It was crazy how much I loved her for only knowing her a few days.
She moved her arm but didn't open her eyes. "Echo?" I said. No response. "Echo?" I sad again, a little louder. Still nothing. I tried shaking her gently but that did nothing. "How much longer till we're there?" I asked Sam. "About 23 minutes." He responded. "Damnit." I said lowly. After a few more minutes of waiting and looking out the window, she started to move. I quickly looked down, hoping to see her beautiful blue eyes staring back at mine. When I looked down I got what I wished for. Her eyes her open and looking into mine, but something wasn't right. The sparkle that I always saw was gone. There was so much fear in her eyes it was heartbreaking. "Help me." She choked out. "SAM DRIVE FASTER." I yelled while tears flooded my eyes. She fainted again. "NO!"
I shook her aggressively. Nothing. "SAM." I yelled. "COLBY CALM DOWN." He yelled. Tears were running down his face as well. I looked down to see all the color drained from her face. "SAM." I yelled, not being able to control the flood of tears erupting from my eyes.
