Lockwood Mansion, 1864 at the Founder's dance. Avangeline's dancing with Katherine. Katherine says, "Look who found her dancing shoes." As Avangeline touches Katherine's hand, Katherine moves her hand away and says, "Uh! No touching, Ms. Salvatore. Those are the rules." Avangeline smirks and says, "I thought you didn't believe in rules." Katherine chuckles and Avangeline looks over to see Damon and then she looks back at Katherine and says, "My brother's still upset that you chose me to escort you." Katherine says, "Well, Damon needs to concede that his younger sister is a better dancer. Oh, looks like he found someone to occupy his time." Avangeline follows after Elena and Damon, and she walks through the door to find herself at the Grill with a confused look on her face. Ava looks down to see herself in her regular clothes. Ava watches with a frown as Damon happily kisses Elena and Elena smiles into the kiss. A voice says, "It hurts, doesn't it?" Ava turns around to see Katherine and Ava looks back over to Elena and Damon and he says, "A little lower." Damon has his arm around Elena to help her with pool. Ava looks back at Damon and Elena, she watches how Damon kisses Elena's cheek and as she walks over to them, Katherine grabs her wrist and she says, "I love you, Ava. We'll be together again. I promise." Katherine kisses Ava.
