A Phantom Play (Sneak Peek)

     School bell rang across the hallway for all the students barging out from their previous classes, finally ending another hell day and taking a break, filling the once silent hallway and courtrooms of now loud  crowded chattering students

Laika Academy had always been this way, following the school system and students doing their own duties

Rumaging their lockers and running across room to rooms, it was the usual hectic day for most of them, including teachers that were quite busy walking around the campus

Rumors spread that the reason all the school staff were occupied was because of a school production that was approved by the head of the Academy to raise charity

And what is the good proposal that even students could involved with?

A Play

To be specfic a school Play production

Reviving one of the classic Novel stories and A classic plays

"The Phantom of the Opera"

Everyone was going bonkers because of it

Most especially for the theatre students

And as expected, as soon as tbe auditions had opened, everyone had gathered around the audution for the upcoming roles for the play

Especially competing the three lead of roles, Christine, Raoul and the infamous Phantom, Erik.

Amongst the crowd watching the auditions, two pairs of members from the Laikapella group had manage to finish their auditions a few days ago, only waiting for the today's final results to show

"Hey, Twin.. do you think we get have any roles on the play?" Her dark curly haired friend asked as he called her their own nicknames, watching the fellow participants sitting down on one of the chairs as they waited for the results

His friend puckered her lips in boredom and just shrugged

"To be honest, I think we would gonna have the usual roles, probably background characters walking around the stage and then randomly singing in groups..."

"Heya Guys!" One of their group members waved his hand towards them before adjusting his glasses back from its sloppy position

"You guys auditioned?? Woah, that's new! Which roles did you tried?"

The two paused, looked at each other for a moment unsurely with a smile

"Aggie tried auditioning Carlota"

"And Wybie tried Piangi.."

"And the results is getting closer, we've been here since yesterday.." the curly dark haired boy added, pointing at a particular theatre passion Mrs. Henscher, arguing over another teacher holding all the auditioned files for the play

And from the looks of the other teachers, Ms. Fortnight, her eyes rolled towards the nagging Mrs. Henscher just in time another person barged in with his usual warm gaze, turning heads back as he explained something towards the two women

"I think they were showing the results now..." Agatha mentioned, lazily placing her hand on the table as if what was going on was nothing to affect her nerves

Wybie nodded and followed crossing his legs comfortably as he watched the commotion in front

"Um...Aren't you guys supposed to be nervous right now?" Pete asked, scratching his head from their unusual behaviour

The two were known to be the shyest among the other groups

And yet, they were one of the reliable members to perfor the stage
