He had been around Paradiso for quite a while now, as usual gathering eneough information about the secrets of the mighty Lumen Sages against the dark forces of the Umbra witches, it was a war between two imperial high power, heaven and hell, dark and light, peace and chaos

It was a battle of contrast so to speak

But neither between knew which is which is the good or evil

And so it happens that the Umbra witches was once tainted his owm belief, thinking himself that they were the enemy for murdering his grandmother during that one partcicular memory when he was still a young explorer, a little boy

But in reality, it was all the Lumens fault

His beliefs were all tainted from the truth

And he hated that even by death, his grandmother did not gain the justice she deserve for

And that is why, he had a fresh start

To rewrite everything

And expose their corrupted facade

His once enemy became his one and only ally from this chaos

Among those, he met a witch, very powerful one that both had the blood of Lumen and Witch, an outcast of both clans, a child prophecy, on a hunt to retrieve her lost memories after she had been imprisoned inside a coffin 20 years from now

And it was still a mystery for him

He wanted to know everything about her origin. It may sound as if he was obssesed about this person but clearly, it was all for the sake of favor from helping him fleshed out the truth of his Grandmother's death

And he swore to open those secrets until he ran out of the energy to do so

But it had already been years since he saw her presence, 2 years had already passed and never in his life he stopped gathered information from her whereabouts

All the secrets of every places he had been through, he kept them on his journals, coincidentally, he could almost manage to string the pieces together the connection

And that's what lead him to this place, the City of Virgil, filled with tall white furnished stone buildings, grand towers and expensive bridges, it was indeed a place of luxury

But enjoying the scenery is not what he came here for, rather, his senses had gave him the benefit of the doubt that staying longer in the city he might be able to gather enough information to strengthen his entry Journal

It was dark and late at night at the moment he manage to return back his rented room, never did he missed a single day without collecting new information from the townspeople, even on his time of relaxation on his bath tub, shower runs through his skin, easing the tired physique and yet, his mind was still glued to his main objectives

Just as he got up and dried himself for a while, his hand quickly took one of his journals inside his old satchel, quickly pacing towards the living room where a large billboard filled with notes and pins were plastered with red strings

It was his way of organizing all the things be had studied around Virgil

Intruiging as how he manage to trace the same symbols on his journals, eyes concentrated, figuring out what the symbol could have meant

"Dark arts scripture?" He whispered unsurely as he tried to decipher the written unknown alphabets on the magic circle

"Actually, it was a summoning scripture, particularly for the Umbran Witches like I do..."
