Market filled many townspeople roaming around the streets in the morning of the small village, merchants, vendors, business people and even performers occupied with their things to earn a few coins

One of them in the crowd, her color shade of red radiates happens to finish her daily chores from buying everything their mother told her to bring, with a contented sighed, she marched back home enjoying the newly purchased bread to eat while strolling around town

It's been her routine now, going around the village, helping her family's chores throughout the day just to cover a few debts from people, their life was not so carefree for a lot of expenses were still required to be paid, the only thing they could be thankful enough was that the Royalties were such good rulers but even so, theh still had to do their responsibilities

But none of those bothered her, only one thing..

As soon as she finally saw a glimpse of her home, someone was already at the door, a young man, stood at the door dumbfounded as he held a boquet of flowers was now scattered all over the ground

She sighed as she already knew what could that be

Another one of her sister's rejected suitor

And that is her problem, not only her but the entire family for years

Everytime, suitors would often visit her older sister in their house, bringing all sorts of things: flowers, sweets, presents, everything just to swoon the young brunette

However none of them were able to capture the her sister's heart, only to get rejected every single time and worse, just shutting them out without a word

Her sister could be cruel sometimes

She couldn't help but to feel pity at the suitors

After the man had left, accepting his defeat, Winifred opened the door greeted by their mother smiling while cleaning the table, as their father, continied to read some of the parchments on his working table while her sister was knowhere to be seen, probbaly went upstairs after that awkward rejection

Her mother sighed sadly "Another rejected young man, Coraline should be atleast compassionate when telling them.."

Winifred nervously chuckled "Well...I guess those gentlemans were just as hardheaded as she was..."

"Dear..A man's pride wouldn't certain if they did not felt any rejection..." their father said "believe me, I rarely see ones being at the opposite.."

"In which ever do you belong there, Charlie?" Mel asked her a husband in a playful way to lighten the mood as they all chuckled

Of course everyone admitted that either, a man's ego could not be tested if they weren't able to taste rejection and unfortunately the kind of woman that they got themselves into did not care less

The family could only sighed at how their oldest daughter would treat her many suitors

"Coraline, I think you should be atleast kinder to your suitors, be a little appreciative..." her sister implied as she stroke her hair with a comb

Evening had struck and the sisters had finally went inside their chambers, preparing themselves for the night, spending a few more hours until drowsiness had struck them both

Well, it wasn't her business to meddle around her older sister's personal life but even herself, having a sister being a bit unexpressive is very unpredictable

Not even the family was able to help her with that

Instead, Coraline scoffed as a reply

"Why bother? all men are the same, they only want is my pretty face.."
