Chapter 9: Unlocking Speech

Max was scrolling through his upgrade menu when he came across an interesting upgrade: the ability to give his drone companions the power of speech. He was intrigued by the idea and immediately decided to grind to gather enough points to unlock it.

He called his companions together and told them about the upgrade, and they were all excited at the prospect of being able to communicate with each other in a more meaningful way.
