Winter's Wildcat

Chapter 4

Cat leaned back in the jet relieved to be able to breathe deeply finally. "Fuck that hurt like a bitch."

"So what do we tell Steve?" Sam asked as he took off his wings.

"Fuck if I know. All I know is I want food, beer, a bath, then sleep." Cat responded as she started stripping out of her suit to her boy shorts and tank top.

Bucky sighed and pointed a finger to Torres. "Eyes off her." He went to his bag and pulled out a t- shirt with some leggings. "Here Doll."

Sam laughed, grabbing his own bag to switch clothes knowing Cat would only pay attention to Bucky undressing. "Cat you are gonna get someone killed one of these days."

"It's not my fault that Tony hasn't upgraded my suit yet." Cat replied as she brushed her hair and started to braid it. "I keep telling him to make my suit have a cooling effect. Peter gets heaters in his. I need a cooling system. I run warm."

"But you can make it so you don't undress infront of anyone besides Bucky."

Cat rolled her eyes then let her eyes sweep over Bucky as he started to change. "So babe you going to join me in the tub?"

Bucky smirked, shaking his head as he finished getting changed. "Sure Doll I can do that." He sat next to her. "What do you want to do for dinner?"

"Pizza and wings sounds good to me."

"We can get the kid to do a run for us and I'll ask Steve to make sure we have beer."

Cat nodded leaning her head on Bucky. "By the way, Torres, Captain Asshole, hacked Red Wing."

Torres groaned. "Shit."

Cat snickered as her eyes started to close. Healing always took more out of her than her brothers.

Bucky sighed before placing a kiss on her head and pulling his phone out to send messages.

"Sam you gonna eat with us? I know the kid is going to just cause he likes Cat so much."

"Yeah he knows what I like."

"Have him order mozzarella sticks and cheesy garlic bread too." Cat mumbled before falling asleep.

Sam chuckled as he laid down on a bench. "And she's out."

Bucky nodded, moving slightly to be more comfortable. "She hasn't been sleeping well."

"How come?"

"She hasn't heard from either of her brothers about her birthday party this weekend."

Sam smirked. "You haven't met them have you?"

"No. I think she's trying to get us to meet before her party."

-A few hours later the jet lands at the compound-

Cat stretched and got up. "I hope the food is here." She walked towards the back smiling seeing Peter. "Hey kid did you get my food?"

"Yeah there's a bunch. Everyone wanted to eat."

Cat grinned then hopped onto Peter's back. "Alright swing us in Spidey." Bucky smiled listening as she was laughing and headed inside.

-At the table-

The whole group was gathered around the table laughing and eating.

Steve looked at Cat. "So I hear you don't like the new Captain America."

Cat laughed. "Understatement. So first he just dropped into the area we were fighting and threw the shield which hit me, not the target. After as we were heading back he hit on me."

Scott choked on his drink slightly before laughing. "He's still breathing?!"

Bucky rolled his eyes taking a sip of his beer. "I'm not that bad."

Steve raised a brow. "I accidentally touched her chest and you almost threw me across the room."

Cat snickered as she ate.

Nat smiled. "You are just as bad. Sharon flirted with him to make Steve jealous and you had to be held back so you wouldn't claw her eyes out."

"OK to be fair on my end I am a feral of sort and we tend to be.."

"Crazy." Sam stated.

"Territorial." Cat finished saying. "It's like if someone comes after Peter. He's seen by my animalistic side as my child. They hurt him then I have to hurt them."

Tony raised a brow. "Is that why you went after Vulture?" He leaned forward. "Wait, is that why you can't go to pick up Peter from school any more?"

Cat sighed. "Yes to the first and no idea what you mean to the second." Peter blushed slightly as he recalled the incident.

Wanda tilted her head. "Peter what happened?"

"She destroyed Flash Gordon's car."

Cat raised her hands. "In my defense it was right after the rewind of everything. I was very emotional since Bucky and Peter were back."

Thor chuckled, raising his shirt showing scarred claw marks on his stomach "I know. You did this to me after I gave the young one Asgardian Ale."

Everyone started laughing again.
