Winter's Wildcat

Chapter 6

Cat sighed, getting up, slipping on Bucky's t-shirt and some shorts. "Well let's go because you know Wanda made a special breakfast for me today."

Bucky nodded, getting out of bed and slipping on some sweatpants. "So they are your brothers by blood?"

"Yeah. I'm seven years younger than Logan."

"Interesting." He followed her to the kitchen where Cat was starting to get birthday hugs. "Steve wanna guess who Cat's brothers are."

Steve raised a brow. "Wait, I know them?"

Bucky nodded, sitting down. "Yep. Howlett and Creed."

"Wait from back in the war?" Steve asked, clearly confused as to how Bucky found out.

Cat rolled her eyes as she sat down and started fixing her plate. "Yes I just found out they knew you both." She tilted her head. "You've read my file Steve, how did you not know one of my brothers is with the X Men and the other is with the Brotherhood?"

Steve choked on his coffee. "That's the same Logan and Victor from our team?!" "Yeah." Bucky replied, fixing a plate of food.

"I'll be damned." Steve muttered.

Peter quickly came in. "Cat, I've got a present for you."

"Peter, you can give it to me at the party."

He shook his head, handing her a square box. "It's something we all contributed to. I won the drawing to give it to you."

Cat laughed softly before she took the box and opened it. Inside was a charm bracelet filled with symbols from everyone on the team to represent them. "Guys!"

Peter helped put it on her. "I know that Bucky gave you a set of dog tags to carry next to your heart like the ones from your brothers so we thought you can always carry your second family with you too."

Cat teared up some and hugged Peter tight as she rubbed her cheek against his purring slightly. "Thanks kid."
