It had been about a good month since Riri had got back from Wakanda. When she was in Wakanda, she was as happy as she could be but now she was back at MIT, staring at an another anonymous note with threats on it.

Hello Riri Williams,

Here we are talking again. I don't know how many times I have to write to you but I am getting sick and tired of being ignored. If this letter is ignored like the rest, I will be forced to take matters into my own hands.

So just in case you forgot the instructions, let me refresh your memory: KILL THE QUEEN.

That is all I ask. You have more access to her than anyone, considering the fact you're her girlfriend, so that's an even better reason to have you do it. Plus, you don't want me to have to, cause then you'll die along with her.

You have one more week, Ms Williams. If the job is not done, I will be coming out of hiding and taking matters into my own hands.

Good day.

These notes had been coming for about two weeks now but today made it three weeks. Riri didn't really think much of it at first but now she was starting to get worried.

She hasn't told anyone about their relationship besides her family and she already checked in with her family and they haven't told anyone anything.

She looked at the time and decided it was time for her to go take a shower. She put the note down on het desk, got some clothes and walked in the bathroom.

'How the hell do they know about me and Shuri?' Her mind was just racing the whole time. At first, she thought this was some sick joke someone was playing but now she was actually starting to get worried.

As she got out and began getting dressed, she heard a noise. She looked around the bathroom and grabbed the back washer and held it up, going to the door slowly.

She turned it slowly but jumped out of the bathroom, taking a swing but she felt it being taken
out of her hands, "So, when were you going to tell me about this?"

She looked up to see Shuri with the note in one hand, the back washer in another and a backpack, more than likely full of clothes.

"I.. I can explain that."

Shuri sat on her bed and crossed her arms, "Let's hear it."

Riri was shitting bricks right now. The last time she seen her like this, was the day before they went to war with Namor.

"Ok so two weeks ago when I got back from Wakanda, I had got a note from an anonymous person," She let out a shaky breath, "and it was basically saying what it says in that one: kill or be killed."

Riri paused, at the sound of Shuri's leg bouncing at a fast pace.

"I thought they were some kind of joke so I didn't think much of it," Riri looked down at her feet, "But now, I'm starting to think this person is serious."

The room was silent. Shuri's leg had stopped bouncing and she was just sitting there, staring at the ground. She was starting to get a little scared.

"So when exactly were you going to tell me?" This was the first time Shuri looked up at her. Riri stayed silent.

"So let me get this straight," She stood up, "If I would have never came to surprise you, I would have never found out that someone was threatening you?!" Riri jumped a little at the sound of her girlfriend raising her voice.

The only reason she didn't tell her was because she didn't even think much of the threats in the first place.

"Well, I'm glad I came today and found this note!" She was basically yelling out this point and even though she was pissed, she didn't want anyone knowing she was there.

"Griot, make the room I'm in soundproof."

" Riri, look at me," Riri continued to look at the ground, "LOOK AT ME DAMN IT!"

Riri looked up at her with tears in her eyes. Shuri looked at her and her face softened, "Come here Ri," She said sitting on the bed again. Riri walked over and sat in her lap.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you, it's just..." Shuri let out a staggering breath, "The last time something like this happened, my brother died. He waited a long time to tell me about his disease and I couldn't save him in time. I don't want that to happen to you Riri," Tears started to roll down both of their cheeks.

"You're one of the only people I have left on this planet, the woman I'm destined to be with," Shuri looked Riri in her eyes, "I've lost two of the most important people in my life, and I'll be
damned if I lose you too."

Riri sat there with her head on Shuri's chest. She couldn't blame Shuri for being upset with her. She had lost her brother for this same reason, she felt so bad for not telling her.

Shuri wiped the tears off of her face, "Don't cry, my love."

"Well here's what's gonna happen, you're gonna have to go on virtual and come stay in Wakanda until all of this gets sorted out and I'll send some Doras down here with your family."

Riri just nodded her head.

While she was keeping the secret, she didn't even think how it would make Shuri feel. She didn't know about T'Challa not telling her about his illness but she felt like had awoken something in her, making her feel bad.

Shuri must have noticed because she grabbed Riri's cheeks and cuffed them in her hands, "Don't feel bad, my love. I understand you thought you could handle it on your own but you must understand when someone threatens the love of my life and my country, I have to get involved to make sure both are safe. Especially you."

Riri nodded her head, "I understand."

"Good," Shuri then laid her head down, " Now show me that smile," She started tickling her.

Riri giggled trying to push her off. Shuri leaned down giving her a peck on the lips, "Netflix?"

"Netflix."

Shuri laid down and grabbed Riri's remote. Riri snuggled up to Shuri's chest under the covers. Shuri turned on "One on One."

She placed a long, loving kiss on Riri's forehead.

She didn't know who or why this person that was threatening her but she did know one thing. If they tried to lay a finger on her, they would have to face the wrath of the Black Panther.
