After a long night of crying her eyes out, Riri was currently in the lab. She was having a meeting with the scientists while Shuri was holding a meeting with the council. She didn't want to be the one to lead this meeting but Shuri insisted it because this was practice for her future "queen duties."

Riri could only imagine what they were talking about in that room considering that when she walked past it, she heard the elders talking shit about her. Did she stop to eavesdrop? Hell yea. She was Riri Williams, if she just passed the door and minded her own business, that would be out of character for her.

One moment that made her proud was when she heard Shuri defend her. It warmed her heart to know that her girlfriend wasn't just gonna let people throw dirt on her name and not defend her, no matter how important they were to Wakanda.

She smiled in her head at the thought. "Alright, let's go ahead and get this out the way shall we? This meeting is being held because your boss wants it but because she's busy, she decided to have me do it."

"Now I know their are some mixed feelings about me in this room just like there are in the rest of Wakanda. Here's the thing though, you don't really gotta like me but I'm trying to help y'all save this country all while trying to save my family. So I'm not gonna try to make anybody change their opinion on me, all I'm asking for right now is that you all just work with me so we can save your country and my family."

Riri's eyes moved around the room as she observed everyone. It looked as if everyone was in understanding.

"Now from the looks of how Shuri's schedule is going, I'm gonna be in charge for a few weeks now. Some of you need to work on the aircrafts, some need to work on the weapons, atleast 4 of you need to work on the Midnight Angel suits and I'm gonna work on my suit."

Riri stood and waited for everyone to move but they just stood there. She raised an eyebrow but then her eyes went up in realization, "You're dismissed."

At that, everyone walked away. Riri walked up the stairs to her suit with her sister's torn beanie in tow. She was going to get her family back, even if it killed her.

Shuri had just got out of her meeting with the council but she was a little irritated considering the Elders were just talking about her girlfriend as if she was just gum at the bottom of their sandals.

She was heading to the lab when Nakia stopped her, "How's Riri?"

"She told me she's okay but I know there's a million things going on in her mind." Nakia nodded her head.

"And how are you feeling?"

Shuri stood for a second, thinking. "This is something I didn't want to happen to her, being afraid that she's going to lose her whole family." Shuri stared off into space.  She knew that feeling more than anyone and wouldn't wish it on her enemy.

"But we're gonna get them back." That was something she had been telling herself all morning, trying to put good manifestation out there.

"Well I went down there to go check on her and she's got them all working well." Shuri nodded her head and the two walked off in opposite directions.

Shuri was glad to hear that but she was still going to go visit her girlfriend and have a look for herself on how things were going. As she entered the lab, Dora Milajes greeted her as she entered.

She walked inside and saw everything going smoothly. Shuri had a proud girlfriend moment right there. She walked upstairs and saw Riri fully focused on her suit so she decided to sneak up on her and give her a little scare. She tiptoed up behind her and grabbed her sides.

"Shuri, what the fuck?!"

"I'm sorry baby," Shuri gave her a peck on the lips, "You're just so easy to scare."

Riri rolled her eyes. Shuri walked over to her suit and began admiring all the new things she added to her suit, "Have you installed your AI?"

Riri just nodded her head.

Shuri let out a quiet sigh. She knew her girlfriend was in her head because she was quiet and Riri was never quiet.

"Speak your mind, my love?"

Riri stopped typing on the computer and wiped her eyes. Shuri walked up behind her girlfriend and hugged her from behind. Right then and there is when Riri just broke down.

"Let it out, let it out," Shuri rubbed her back while grabbing some remote and then a privacy screen covered up where they were. If Riri wasn't having an emotional breakdown, she would have been surprised at that.

"I just wanna know why my family. They barely know anything about Wakanda, let alone this shit right here so why did he have to take them." Shuri stood in silence. She wish she could answer that question but she really just didn't know how.

"Honestly Ri, I can't really answer that for you," She grabbed her face to look at her, "However I can promise you that we will get your family back."

After that statement, Riri just laid her head on Shuri and the two just stood in comfortable silence.

"How long has that privacy screen been right there?"

A small smile formed on Shuri's face when she heard that. She's back.

"Like I always tell you, ever since this lab was built," She grabbed the computer and put it in  Riri's hands,  "I have one more thing to do but when I get done, I'll be right back." Riri nodded her head and got back to work.

Shuri walked down the stairs but then walked up the other side of stairs. When she got to the other area, she activated the privacy screen over there. She had some research to do. There was some physical differences that looked different from sibling different between N'Jadaka and Zakari. Almost as if, they had a different parent from each other.

She began to look all through Zakari's life, from college to high school to elementary, she was determined to find something out. She were scrolling and scrolling until she came across something that caught her eye.

Mother dies in house fire, child taken in by step-brother. Bingo.

She dove more into that topic and found out a good amount of information but one thing she read was starting bring it all together. The mother's name on the news article was not N'Jadaka's mother's name.

'Uncle N'Jobu, you sly dog.'

With that, she shut it down but began thinking. Why would that make him want to attack her family though? She thought and thought some more until a lightbulb went off in her head. She lifted up the privacy screen and ran down the stairs over to Riri's section. Riri looked up and saw her girlfriend behind her with a look and she knew she had just found out something big.

"I know why Zakari's pissed at us."
