For the purposes of this fic I have aged characters up and altered the lore a little bit as follows.
Students start hogwarts at 16 yrs old. Year 1:16, 2:17, 3:18, 4:19, 5:20, 6:21, 7:22, so our characters are 20 years old. Maybe there's a hogwarts 'primary' for 11-15? Idk haven't thought much into it but here it is. kids would still get there wands at 11 for this first school or smth idk.
I've written it here because i can't be bothered writing it into the story :))
