RWBY reacts to the MCU

5 - A New Direction (Iron Man 2)

A communication tower was shown with military personnel inside, getting a transmission from Rhodes.

Rhodes: Edwards Tower, this is Lt. Col. James Rhodes, inbound 3 miles east at 5000 ft.

Yang: *growls* Oh, look. The traitor.

Winter: Tony's actions were unacceptable. And, when you think about it, both due to the fact that he's incredibly ill and at the time, he was extremely intoxicated, , Tony should NOT have been operating the Iron Man suit. It's technically operating a vehicle under the influence.

Glynda: Huh. I had not even thought of that. Excellent evaluation, Winter. *Winter nods*

Ruby: Still, he didn't have to steal one of Tony's suits... *pouts*

Rhodes came flying fast past the comm tower and towards the base. Every eye was on him as he flew in, descending to the ground. He lifted up his mask. Everybody, including the Major, who sprinted up to him, came to greet Rhodes.

Major: Colonel.

Rhodes: Major.

Major: *impressed* Wow.

Rhodes: Yeah. Let's take it inside.

Major: *to others* Clear the area.

Jaune: *annoyed* Oh, great. And now one of the greatest pieces of technology ever created is in the hands of the military. The people that should NEVER have that kind of power. As if Ross getting his hands on the Hulk wasn't enough.

Ironwood: The military is the group best equipped to handle such machinery and the group best equipped to handle such machinery and yhe group that would be most responsible with it.

Qrow: *laughs* Oh, man! Good one, Jimmy! *wipes away tear*

He then noticed the general glaring at him, clearly stating it's no joking matter.

Qrow: Oh, wait, you were serious? Well, let me laugh harder then. *laughs*

(STOP AT 2:38)

Tony was then shown, still wearing the Iron Man suit, lying inside a large donut, perched on top of a diner, saying "Randy's Donuts". Fittingly, he was lying in the donut, eating a box full of donuts.

???: Sir! I'm gonna have to ask you to exit the donut.

Some of the students laughed at this, while the general noticed who the man is.

Ironwood: Nick Fury? What is he doing here?

Penny: Perhaps to speak with Tony about the Avengers Initiative.

Ozpin: That would be the most obvious answer at the end of the previous Iron Man movie.

Tony dipped his shades to look at Nick Fury, staring up at him.

The scene then switches to the 2 of them, sitting inside the diner.

Tony: I told you I don't wanna join your super secret boy band.

Weiss: Boy band?

Pyrrha: Perhaps the Avengers Initiative involves forming a large team? With Tony's sarcastic nature and how he described it, that seems more than likely.

Ruby: A TEAM of superheroes?! Awesome! Some of our comic heroes team up, but they never make a permanent team.

Blake: To be fair, Huntsman and Huntresses are basically superheroes in teams of 4.
