2 - Recruiting the Team Pt. 1 (The Avengers)

Ruby: *excited* So, what happens next?!

Jaune: *hopeful* Now they've got to be getting all the heroes together, right?!

Gian: Yep, that's the idea.

Yang: This is gonna be so cool! I can't wait to see what awesome armors Tony's made since last time!

Velvet: I hope Steve's been adjusting to our world alright.

Nora: *purrs* I hope we get to see a bit more of that body of his.

Ren: Nora!

Ironwood: So, it will be Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk. All powerful fighters, no doubt, although I'd hardly call that a team.

Ozpin: Agreed. It wouldn't even be enough to fill a whole team at our schools.

Glynda: Perhaps there are other heroes we have yet to meet? Or perhaps ones we hadn't first considered.

Winter: And who would that be?

Qrow: Rhodey's got a suit now. It may just be a bulkier Iron Man suit, but it's better than nothing. Not to mention Romanoff from Iron Man 2. That woman had some moves.

Coco: Yeah, she did. Velvet's been trying that hurricanrana thing at least 10x in our training yesterday.

Weiss: *groans* Same with Blake. I almost thought she was going to rip my head off with her thighs.

Blake: It's just so much fun...

Jack: Those are all good points and ideas. Now, let's see how it happens.

Near a set of train tracks, inside an old abandoned warehouse, on the second floor, an interrogation was being performed. Three men stood around a bound red haired woman, one stepping forward and then violently back handing her across the cheek.

Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow, took several deep breaths before slowly turning back towards her captors and shaking the hair from her face. An older man in a uniform stood in front of her, his hands in his pockets as he spoke to her in Russian.

Velvet: Natasha!

While sure she wasn't quite as powerful as Iron Man or Thor, Velvet found herself gravitating towards Black Widow as her favorite hero. The fact she's a normal human stepping into the fight was epic. And her moves were incredible. She really enjoyed using the Hurricanrana and looked forward to returning to Beacon and using it in a sparring session against Cardin.

Weiss: We hadn't even considered her. But at the end of the day, she is a hero. She's half the reason they managed to stop Vanko.

Glynda: Yes, girls. But I think you're forgetting the important part. That she's a captive.

Velvet: *gasps* Natasha no! Someone save her!

Penny: Do not worry, Velvet. I am certain she is capable of getting out of the situation. Despite her wonderful acting, I am unable to detect any signs of panic or distress coming from her. It seems as though she believes she has complete control over the situation.

Everyone (minus Gian and Jack) looked at her in shock and disbelief, before looking closer at the TV.

Luchkov: [Russian] This is not how I wanted the evening to go.

Nat: [Russian] I know how you wanted this evening to go. Believe me, this is better.

Luchkov: [Russian] Who are you working for? Lermentov, yes?
