6 - Tensions Arise With These Super Guys (The Avengers)

Ironwood: So, we're all in agreement that it's suspicious Loki allowed himself to be captured, even after he had every chance to escape?

Everyone: Yes.

Cinder: Half of our strategy to take down Beacon was to get into favorable positions. And while I can't think of what Loki wants at the moment, there are few places more favorable than in the enemy's headquarters.

Ozpin: But the question is why?

Jaune: They never mentioned the Helicarrier, or S.H.I.E.L.D in general having anything the bad guys need.

Penny: I suppose the only thing we can do is wait and see.

In the Helicarrier a contingent of Guards were escorting Loki through the ship. Despite being a prisoner he looked calm, even smug. As they passed Banner's lab, where he was performing an experiment, Loki looked inside and gave Bruce a knowing smile. As Loki passed out of sight Banner took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes.

Blake gasped at this. That smile. Adam always had that same kind of grin whenever he was close to something he wanted.

Blake: He's after Bruce. The way he looked at him, that's the look of someone who knows more than he's letting on. Whatever he's here for, it has to do with Bruce.

Neo: What, do they need another egghead to work on that machine of his?

Velvet: Science is complicated. One scientist is good, but two will always be better. Maybe he'll have an idea Selvig wouldn't have thought of.

Emerald: It's too early to say anything for sure. All we know is it probably has something to do with Bruce.

Loki was led into a containment unit, with glass walls and held in place by hydraulic rigging. Nick Fury walked up the catwalk around the cell and towards a control panel.

Fury: In case it's unclear. You try to escape. You so much as scratch that glass.

He then pressed a button which opened up a hatch underneath Loki's cell. Loki peered as much as he could from his cell. The sound of air being pulled from the room was auditable, drowning out nearly all other sounds, forcing Fury to shout over the wind. 

Fury: 30,000 ft., straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?!

Fury then closed the hatch and pointed at Loki.

Fury: Ant.

He then pointed at the button which would drop Loki into the steel trap.

Fury: Boot.

Everyone was shocked at this.

Yang: *fearful* Whoa. That makes the time Nora sent me flying from our food fight seem like falling off the top bunk.

Nora: Okay, I know they think Uncle Loki's a god, but that just feels excessive.
