5 - The Plan of All Plans (Guardians of the Galaxy)

In the Dark Aster, Ronan was meeting with Thanos.

Ronan: The orb is in my possession, as I promised.* Korath holds up orb*

Thanos: Bring it to me.

Nora: *panicking* Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!

Cinder: *worried* Ronan having the stone is already the more horrible thing I can think of, but THANOS having it is SOMEHOW even WORSE!

Ronan, however, seemed to have a different idea. 

Ronan: Yes, that was our agreement. Bring you the orb, and you will destroy Xandar for me. However, now that I know it contains an Infinity Stone, I wonder what use I have for you.

Thanos: Boy, I would reconsider your current course!

Sienna: *shocked* Oh, tell me he's not THAT egotistical... Is he?

Qrow: Something tells me, that's a RESOUNDING yes.

Neo: *dreaded tone* Well, this might actually be good. Now Peter and the others might not have to deal with Ronan.. Because Thanos is DEFINITELY gonna kill him now.

Ronan then opens the orb.

Korath: Master! You cannot! Thanos is the most powerful being in the universe.

Ronan: Not anymore.

Then, without hesitation, he grabs the stone as sparks of power are released.

Ruby: *horrified* He's not screaming in agony! Why isn't he screaming in agony?!

Yang: *nervous* M-Maybe it's just taking slightly longer? The Kree might just be built differently?

Hazel* Horrified* It's considering him worthy. 

Pyrrha: *in disbelief* B-but how is HE possibly worthy!?

She was thinking there must be conditions similar to Thor's hammer, NONE of which she believed Ronan meets.

But before the power of the stone could eradicate him, he grabbed the war hammer and put the stone inside, making it a stable vessel to contain its power.

Ronan: You call me 'BOY'! I will unfurl 1000 years of Kree justice on Xandar, and burn it to its core! Then, Thanos... I'm coming for you. *Thanos hangs up*

Nebula: *shocked* After Xandar, you're going to kill my father?

Ronan: You dare to oppose me?

Nebula: You see what he has turned me into. You kill him, I will help you destroy a thousand planets.

Glynda: *nervous* Well... that's one way to raise the stakes. *sighs* I really wish I had my therapy daggers to twirl right now.

Ozpin: *concerned* Therapy daggers?

Qrow: They were blunt, Oz. They helped her keep her nerves during exam season. Hell, she's used them for cosplay multiple times.

Nora: Aww, his hammer is better than mine now!

Everyone else just deadpanned and sweat-dropped at her.

Glynda: *sighs* Ms. Valkyrie... you're a demigoddess. 

Nora: ...Oh, yeah... Yay!

Emerald: *sad* Still, I can't believe Nebula's willing to go along with Omnicide JUST for a chance to kill Thanos.
