Nora: *sad* Aww, but he just wants to help.
Ironwood: Which is admirable, but he's simply not fit for combat. At best, he'd slow down his platoon, at worst, get them all killed.
Jaune: Well, maybe, but he's just skinny. He doesn't have to be the strongest soldier, he could just fight smarter, not harder.
Glynda: Unfortunately, that's the least of his problems, Mr. Arc. His numerous health issues could cause him problems in the field that can't be dealt with in the middle of the war zone. And dragging him to safety could get several men killed.
Ozpin: Indeed. Sadly, this is a case where spirit isn't enough for once. Evn in our world, with aura and all, a person with such health issues could never be allowed to be a Huntsman or Huntress.
Jaune: *hopeful* Still, I know somehow he'll get out there. I just know it.
A black and white motion picture was now shown as it played over, showing images of the Nazi flag and soldiers marching as a man spoke over it.
Narrator: War continues ravage Europe.
Steve was then shown in the theatre, watching the commercial with the audience.
Narrator: But help is on the way. Every able-bodied young man is lining up to serve his country.
A little boy was then shown on screen, collecting scrap.
Narrator: Even little Timmy is doing his part collecting scrap metal. Nice work, Timmy!
Yang: Oof. That's gotta be rough for Steve to see. Even a little kid can do more than him.
Winter: But it does bring up an excellent point. There are far more military jobs that don't require going into combat to be performed. He could similarly collect scrap or even be a medical assistant back at base camp if he passes a rudimentary medical course.
Weiss: Something tells me he's too stubborn to settle for that.
Jerk: Who cares?
A woman, who was on the verge of tears, looked over at the loud mouth, another man sitting in front of him, looked behind with a raised eyebrow.
Jerk: Play the movie already!
Ruby: How dare you! People are fighting and dying so you can sit on your lazy jerk butt and watch a movie!
Cinder: *smiles* Well, well. That set off quite the fire inside you, little Rose. I like that.
Ruby: *giggles nervously* W-well, in my family, we were always taught to appreciate hunters and the military to keep up safe, so we could live normal lives, not always terrified by the Grimm.
Qrow: So, Jimmy, what kind of response would that get someone in Atlas?
Ironwood: Even Jaques Schnee would be forced out of the theater and likely thrown in the nearest mud puddle.
Sure, he couldn't make people support the military and they were free to speak their minds, but outright disgracing it in such a manner would not be tolerated.
Steve: *quietly* Hey, you wanna show some respect? *jerk scoffs*
Narrator: Meanwhile, overseas, our brave boys are showing the Axis powers that the price for freedom is never too high.
