Lifted Gym Washington, DC 9:15AM
I walked into the gym with a smile on my face. If I got nothing out this day I know for sure I would at least get a laugh out of what my friends and I were doing. "Good morning Rami, how are you?" I said as I walked up to the desk. He greeted me with a warm smile. "Hey, Karter and friends." He said as he waved and I smiled. I ordered for guest passing and he rung them up before handing me my receipt. "Thanks for coming today." Rami said sweetly making me smile in return. "You're to kind, Rami." I said. He's always been very sweet to me, in a friendly way. They said their thank you's before we went to the open area for floor work, placing down our yoga mats before stretching. It has been forever since I've done yoga so I know this is going to be hell. I spotted Trinity just as she looked my way and waved her down. "Hey guys!" She chirped as she jogged towards us. "I didn't expect to see you guys today!" She said as she gave us each a hug. "I know, just wanted to do some yoga with friends." I said and she nodded. "That's great. You know we have a program every Thursday night if you're interested!" She said and I raised a brow. I didn't know that. "We'll see if I still got it." I said and she nodded. "I hope she told you guys about the party, I would love for all of us to have another night together before everyone leaves." Trinity said and Aminata raised her hand. "She definitely did and we will be there but I have one question." She said and Trinity raised a brow, fighting back a laugh as I shook my head at her antics. "You got any fine brother-in-laws that isn't trying to fu-" I quickly grabbed her and put my hand over her mouth. "Can you please!" I said as Marques, Zion and Trinity laughed. Aminata moved my hand from off her mouth. "What! I want me a Samoan man to!" She said making me shake my head. "Put me on this list when you find one looking for someone like me. Thank you." Marques said. "Ignore them, they really are to much." I said and Trinity shook her head. "I'm not gone block her blessing. Okay so look, him one over there, COO, thirty and a bachelor." She said as she leaned into Aminata and pointed to Joe who was doing chin-ups making me throw my arms in the air . "I remember him. He is fine." Aminata said. "Yes he is." Zion spoke up and I looked at her with wide eyes. "What? I can look." She said. At this point I was struggling to hold back laughter. "Can we please start! I have to be at work by noon!" I said clapping. "Aight girl but you might want to look up there." Marques said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. As I looked up I saw Joshua holding himself up on the bar, raises his knees to his chest. He's to fine for his own good. God truly took his time with that man.

"Monroe!" Trinity said waving her over making me shift my attention from Joshua to Monroe as well as my attitude. Monroe just so happened to be walking toward Joshua when she called her making me crack a smile. "Oh I like her." Marques said laughing. Monroe looked confused but walked over anyway. "Hey girl." Trinity said as she hugged Monroe, throwing me a wink in the process. Not only a trainer but a real ass friend. "I'll be right back. Gonna get us some towels." I said with a smirk as I walked by Monroe. "Ask Joe, I think he was the last one who did our inventory." Trinity said as she pulled away from her hug with Monroe. I heard my friends laughing as I walked over to Joe. He stood by Joshua looking on as he worked out. "Hey Joe, do you mind grabbing me some towels? My friends and I need some." I said, he looked down at me and smiled. "Hey Dr. Cypher. Yeah, I'll be right back." He said before walking off. Joshua had his headphones on with his eyes closed as he finished his set. His grunting going straight to my ears and parts in which they shouldn't. I picked up his water bottle just as he jumped down. He turned to me a bit startled making me crack as smile as he pushed his headphones back. "Sorry to scare you, Dr. Fatu." I joked as I stretched my arm out to hand him his bottle. "Nah, you're good." He said as he took it from my hand. His fingers grazing mines in the process. "You look-you look good." He stuttered making me smile. "I appreciate that." I said. Fashion Nova bodysuit for the win. "Of course." He said, clearly nervous and still catching his breath.

Joshua swore this was a cruel joke God was playing on him right now. But he was thanking him in the process. "I'm not use to seeing you on Tuesday." Joshua said, rolling back his shoulders a bit to relax. He watched as tilted her head slightly, looking up at him before licking her lips. She looked him in his eyes before giving him sweet smile that was anything but. Those eyes. They were something else which is why whenever they would speak he would stare at them but today, they were staring at him. Joe walked up with a handful of towels, handing them to her. "Thank you Joe." She said sweetly before turning her attention back towards Joshua. "I should come by more. Maybe than you'll be use to seeing me more often." She said before walking off. He watched as she walked towards her friends, crossing paths with Monroe in the process. Seeing Monroe come his way he started to put his headphones on until he saw Karter stop and look at him. "Hey Josh-," Monroe started before getting cut off. "Joshua, can you get me a bottle of water, please." Karter asked with a smile. "I gotchu'." He said before jogging off get grab a bottle before Monroe had the chance to speak again.
