Karter rolled into where Josh was supposed to be causing her eyes to snap open, immediately wincing at the sun that peaked through the ceiling to floor curtains. He was gone making her groan at the feel of his side empty. They've landing yesterday and between the flight and officially being apart of the mile high club they were worn. Sitting up in bed she rubbed her eyes, knees folding up into her chest as she yawned. It was peaceful, the soft sound of the waves cutting through the closed windows followed by the waving of the branches covered in beautiful green leafs. This was needed. Wrapping her arms around her legs she laid her head on her knees, closing her eyes as she took in the sounds around her.

She wasn't aware how much time had passed but she woke up feeling her body in the arms of Joshua, his usual smell filling her senses making her hum as she hid her face into his neck. "As much as I love this, I did plan for us to experience Malibu." He teased, kissing her temple as he pulled her closer, as if it was possible. She sighed before opening her eyes, looking up towards him with an unknowing pout before a grin fell upon her lips. "Alright, alright. What's the plans?" She asked, sitting up, leaving him laying back onto the pillows. Her eyes wandered a bit seeing him domesticated, no shirt, cotton pajama pants, he didn't even have on any jewelry at the moment, he was just Joshua. She loved it. She was sure he was freeballing to but she buried those thought feeling the need to stretch her limbs. Standing from the bed she did so, her arms up and back contouring in the process. "I fell so stiff." She mumbled as she walked to the connected bathroom to catch up on her skincare and brush her teeth. "I can help with that!" Joshua called up as he stood from the bed, rubbing his hands over his stomach as he walked into the bathroom behind her. "I'm sure you can, but you sir said we have plans, what are they?" She pulled back her hair, putting her wrist bands before she began washing her face.

Joshua was infatuated with her. He wanted every day to be like this. He craved it but he didn't want to scare her into stepping away from him but this woman, oh this woman, she engulfed his every thought, every step he took she was in mind, literally. He caught himself stepping more to the right just to ensure they wouldn't knock into each other, it's something so simple but something he always considered. He learned that she really doesn't like pajamas, she rarely wears them, more of a top and panties girl. Varying from a baby tee to an oversized tee, a cami or a tank, briefs or boy shorts and an occasional thong when she was in the mood. Today she wore a light grey baby tee and hot pink briefs. He still couldn't understand how she looked sexy in something so simple, so casual. He sat on the sink beside her. "We have dinner reservations tonight for eight-fifteen. Before that we are going to float therapy. I added on acupuncture too, but if you're not up for that, we don't have to. Then you will have a driver come to take you to the outlets to shop for something to wear tonight." He said, she patted her face dry and looked at him. "Acupuncture sounds nice- everything sounds great-yeah, oh-uh, I have someone I can wear tonight, I don't have to go shopping." She stumbled over her words, she was sure no one has ever properly planned an entire day for her, however, this is the same man who planned an entire weekend for her, why is she shocked? "I'm sure you do but I want to buy my girlfriend something to wear to dinner." He said, she stared at him momentarily before turning her attention back to the mirror to brush her teeth. He was taken aback at her response or lack there of. Did she usually brush her teeth so fast? He thought, his brows pinching in the middle. She swished mouth wash in her mouth before grabbing a towel to wipe her mouth. He couldn't process the timing before she was on her tip toes, pulling him down by the back of his neck and connecting their lips. "Mm?" He said as he wrapped one around her waist, lifting her so he wasn't straining his neck as they kissed she sighed as she perched herself onto his lap. His hands roamed her sides, sliding around the small of her back, hugging her closely as they kissed. Her fingers latched together against the back of him neck as her thumbs massaged his pressure points softly. She pulled away, her head slightly tilted to the side as a smile of adoration grew on her face. He mirrored her look, leaning in he pressed his lips to her jaw. "I cherish you." He said, her body fell warm as goosebumps grew on her skin. "Joshua." She barely said above a whisper and she leaned back to look in his eyes. A tiny gasp feel from her lips seeing the look in his eyes. It wasn't of hunger, but of desire, appreciation, care, love? It made her dizzy. She pulled him close, laying her head on his shoulder. They sat there in silence, comforting touches and soft breaths surrounding them as they accepted one another in their space.

The day went by perfectly. Karter did manage to
get Joshua to add on brunch because she was craving a good steak and couldn't wait until
dinner to indulge in her craving. He didn't complain or even seem to mind as his stomach growled at the request for brunch. She saw a boat ride as they ate brunch and couldn't help but ask to go and he agreed without reservation. Float therapy post brunch and boat ride had her feeling almost weightless after their meal. She loved it and intended to add that to her monthly todo list, acupuncture too. Overall at 10 out of 10 experience with an amazing partner that made the experience all the more fulfilling. And she founds the perfect outfit for tonight just to check out and get back to her man.

"That'll be nine-hundred and twenty-eight dollars that is charged on your statement." The lady at the register said made Karter raise a brow as she held her card out awkwardly now. "I'm sorry, my statement? I don't have an account here." She said, confused. The lady smiled. "Dr. Cypher? Dr. Fatu opened a joint account. He asked that all charges are made onto that account for whatever it is your purchase came to. Your bill was covered before you came in." She said her smile only growing. "I'm going to kill him." Karter said trying to hide her smile as she put her card back into her wallet. "Invite me to the funeral? Does he have any brothers?" The lady said making Karter laugh. The lady handed her bags to a clerk. They said their goodbyes before she walked out to car with the clerk behind her,
holding her bags as the driver opened her door. She climbed in and saw a sushi platter with a note.

Hopefully this will act as an extinguisher, get use to it though. Eventually you'll forget to even bring your card. -J <3.

She shook her head and laugh to herself before indulging.
