Chapter 67: Choice

Light's POV

One week has passed and I still haven't found them in the game.

The projections above showing who are still alive was gone so I don't know who are still alive in the game.

There is still projections above but it is now showing the scores of each town. Nangunguna parin naman kami pero hindi kami dapat makampante.

I survived one week in this jungle even though may sugat ako sa braso. I stopped the bleeding by covering it with a piece of cloth and some herb. Ella taught us some most common herbs and thankfully I found one.

Pero alam kong sooner or later ay mawawala na ang epekto nito. It will start bleeding again.

I was shocked when a voice echoed the whole forest

"Killing of Kakós for points starts now"

When I heard that ay napapapikit nalang ako. I didn't know that the game will really come to this point even though we kinda expected it.

When it comes to this, me,Ella,Prime,Naomi, Nieves,Arrow and our trainers agreed that we will never kill Kakós inside the game.

Killing Kakós doesn't even make so much sense since killing Kakós is useless if other team has greater number of members than yours.

After a few hours ay nangunguna nalang bigla ang Magnus. Which means that they killed Kakós. Pero useless rin naman yung scores nila kapag may mas maraming natitirang buhay na members ang ibang grupo.

I was so shocked when suddenly someone shoot me with an arrow,dun pa talaga sa sugat ko!

Napasigaw agad ako dahil sa sobrang sakit,parang pinunit ulit ang naghihilom kong sugat!

Before I can even looked who it was ay namalayan ko nalang na nakulutang na ako sa ere and before I realized it ay bumagsak na ako sa tubig sa ilog.

I can swim yet my wound is killing me. Kulang nalang ay sumigaw ako sa ilalim dahil sa sobrang sakit.

I tried to swim even though I was hurting but  the water current was so strong.

I was nervous when suddenly I was out of breath.

In that moment, flashbacks immediately entered my mind. The bad and the happy moments.

Ganito ba ang pakiramdam kapag mamatay ka na?

I tried to hold on pero namalayan ko nalang na hindi na talaga ako makahinga and then everything went black.

Ella's POV

"Ella, a sign of Light!"-masayang sigaw ni Naomi when we found a leaf in the shape of thunder floating in the water.

One week had past inside the Death League pero si Naomi palang ang nakita ko sa loob ng laro.

I found her when the wind suddenly blew  towards east kahit na during that day ay wala namang masyadong hangin.

We immediately ran papunta sa kung saan sa tingin namin nanggaling ang sign na yun.

While looking at the trees beside the river ay pakiramdam ko bigla akong tinawag ng tubig. Parang may gusto itong ipakita sakin.

Tumigil ako sa paglalakad na ikinatigil din ni Naomi.

"Ella? What's wrong?"-nagtatakang tanong niya sakin

I immediately kneeled  and touched the water.

"Oh sh*t Light!"-pagmumura ko when I saw what my ability wanted me to see
