Chapter 70: Last Fight

"I'm done, gawin mo na!"-sigaw nung guy mula sa Raegan pertaining to the soul manipulation that he did.

I want to do it so bad pero hindi na kaya ng ability ko. I used my energy already in fighting Patricio and Prime.

"Ella, kami na ang bahala kay Prime. Tapusin mo na si Patricio " -Sabi ni Naomi

I tried pero konting tubig nalang ang lumalabas sakin. I'm also exhausted, sa pag-iwas sa mga atake nina Prime at Patricio.

Ilang beses sinubukan nina Light na pigilan si Prime sa pag-atake sakin kanina pero parang wala lang ito kay Prime, ni hindi niya nga iniinda ang mga sugat niya.

Mas ikinakaba ko when suddenly two players from Magnus arrived at the scene. Ano ba naman to? Di pa kami tapos rito pero may dumagdag na naman.

They were about to attack us but Nieves tried to freeze them. One of the two was frozen but the other one broke free.

"Kami na ang bahala sa kaniya, kayo na muna kay Prime" -sabi ni Naomi kay Light.

Nilabanan agad ni Naomi at Nieves yung isang player ng Magnus habang ako ay patuloy lang sa pag-iwas sa atake ni Patricio. Kailan ba matatapos to? Parang hindi man lang nawawalan ng lakas si Patricio. Bumabalik rin naman ang apoy niya sa tuwing pinapatay ko to. Ano bang dapat kong gawin para matalo siya?

"Ella! Watch Out!"-sigaw ni Nieves sakin when the sword of the guy from Magnus came flying to me.

I immediately jumped para iwasan to but I didn't expect na matutumba ako pagkatapos kong tumalon. Nawawalan na nang lakas ang paa kong tumayo ng matuwid lalo't kanina pa ako takbo ng takbo at iwas ng iwas sa mga atake nina Prime at Patricio.

I thought Patricio would use that as an opportunity to attack me but he didn't. I'm not the one he attacked.

Kahit na nahihirapan na ako sa pagtakbo ay tumakbo na agad ako papunta sa likuran ni Prime, papunta sa kaniya ngayon ang ability ni Patricio. Pero bago ko paman maprotektahan si Prime ay maprotektahan na niya ang sarili niya.

Lahat pala kami nina Nieves ay sinubukang protektahan si Prime kaya ang mga ability namin ngayon ay nagsalpukan. Naging dahilan ito ng malaking pagsabog na ikinatilapon ko papunta sa isang malaking bato.

I immediately felt the impact of it. Sobrang sakit ng buong katawan ko. Hindi rin ako makatayo.

The surrounding turned quiet after the explosion.

The moment I looked at my left, tears immediately fell from my eyes because of what I've seen. Nakahiga si Prime sa lupa habang may nakatusok na maliit na sanga sa tagiliran niya. Dumudugo ang ulo niya at wala na siyang malay ngayon.

I felt so useless, hindi ko man lang siya magamot.

Okay lang kaya sina Naomi? I hope they are.  Si Prime lang kasi ang nakikita ko because he's near me. Yung iba ay hindi ko na nakikita dahil sa usok sa paligid.

When I heard footsteps coming towards me ay kinabahan ako. Pinipilit kong tumayo pero hindi ko talaga magalaw ang katawan ko.

When I saw who it was at mapait nalang akong napangiti, it's Patricio.
I underestimated him. Look at him, parang wala man lang sa kaniya yung pagsabog kanina.

I saw a smirk forming in Patricio's lips when he saw the condition that I am in. I thought he'd kill me right away but I was wrong.

He waited for the smoke to vanish para makita ko muna ang mga kaibigan kong nagdudusa. At para masaksihan nila kung paano ako patayin, the most painful torture.

"E-Ella r-run" -nahihirapang sabi ni Nieves sakin. She's also in a bad condition.

Napatingin din agad ako kay Naomi na katabi niya, nakatulala lang ito na para bang pinipigilan ang sarili na mahimatay.

On the other hand, Light and Arrow's conditions are much worse. Nakasandal si Light sa isang puno habang punong-puno ng sugat at galos ang katawan habang si Arrow naman ay nakahiga sa harap niya at walang malay.

I stopped myself from crying. I won't cry, not infront of Patricio. If I'm gonna let Cora see me die, I won't let them witness that I cried infront of this monster.

Patricio suddenly hold my cheeks and smirked. Tanggap ko na sana ang kamatayan ko when I heard someone spoke from the side.

"Don't you f*cking touch her"

Pareho kaming napatingin ni Patricio sa kaniya. Nakatayo na si Prime ngayon and he's on fire again. His eyes are again full of anger and range. How could he do this? How can he produce this much power?

It didn't make me happy, instead I felt worried. Transferring this much power from the sun to his own body can cause him his own life. This is f*cking s*icide.

Prime immediately attacked Patricio causing Patricio to stay away from me.

When Prime saw me, I saw how his fire grew even more. I thought that he's gonna attack me too but I was shocked when I saw him smile at me.

"This is the farthest I can go. I will leave the rest to you" -sabi ni Prime sakin

Then he immediately ran towards Patricio to fight him.

He remembers me now?

Sinubukan ko ulit na tumayo, I won't let myself witness my friends death and I won't let them witness my end. Not today!

I succeeded in standing pero natumba lang din ako after a few seconds, ngayon ko lang napansin na may nakatusok na palang kahoy sa binti ko. I can't even feel it dahil namanhid na'to.

As Prime's fire started to eat the forest again, napatingin ulit ako kina Naomi.

Naomi surpassed her fear of hopelessness for us to win this game.

Light conquered his fear of failure in order for us to not fail.

Nieves fought her fear of death in order for the whole Cora to live.

Arrow overcame his fear of destruction in order to prevent it from happening to our town.

Prime defeated his fear to lifelessness in order for life to flourish.

Cora trusted us for their life and for their future. 

Kaya wala akong karapatang tumigil at sumuko!

Napaiyak nalang ako habang hinahawakan at nakatingin sa lupa.

As I see my tears fell to the ground, kasabay nun ay ang pagmamakaawa ko na kahit konting lakas ay bigyan niya ako.

I continued crying for a few minutes until I suddenly felt the Earth talking to me. I suddenly realized that it's giving me energy, nararamdaman ko to na dumadaloy sa bawat
sistema ko. My hand that's touching the ground is now glowing.

When I felt that the energy was enough, tumayo na agad ako at tumakbo papunta kina Prime at Patricio na patuloy ang paglalaban. See? There's always hope.

Pagkarating ko sa kinaroroonan nila ay inilabas ko na agad lahat ng energy na binigay sakin ng lupa para ikulong si Patricio sa tubig. This my abilities working together.

Patricio kept on struggling and producing black fire pero wala ding epekto yun dahil sa tubig na nakapalibot sa kaniya. Then I produced more water to completely seal him and prevent him from breathing.

It was like a time bomb dahil sa naglalaban na ability ko at ni Patricio. Hanggang sa namalayan nalang namin na sumabog ulit ito, mas malakas kaysa kanina.

I immediately felt Prime's hug on me when it exploded. He protected me from the impact dahil tumilapon ulit agad kaming lahat. Naramdaman ko agad ang sakit ng ulo ko at ang antok.

But before I closed my eyes ay nakita ko pa ang patay na katawan ni Patricio sa harapan ko. At bago siya malagutan ng hininga, I heard his first and last words to me.

"Darkness will follow you"

Then I immediately felt my eyes becoming heavier and heavier and then suddenly everything went black.
