Chapter 1 : first meeting

"Jiwoo-ah " her mom was yelling at her for being late for school trying to wake her up

" this girl , hurry up and wake up or I'm gonna kick your ass " her mom hit her lightly on her forehead
She finally woke up

" mom that hurt " she touch her forehead looking at her mom with sleepy eyes

" I don't care hurry up and wash your face you are late again " her mom said cleaning her room

" I hate school I only want sleep " she throw herself in her bed and put pillow on her face

" yah " her mom yell at her throwing another pillow on her daughter

" if you don't go to the bathroom now and wash your damn face I'm gonna throw my slippers this time " she said that after getting closer to her daughter bed

Jiwoo stand up from her bed running so fast to bathroom and closed the door after hearing her mom words

She was standing infront of the mirror she got litte sacred because of her face she looked like a zombie

" why I always look this ugly when I wake up is that my hidden talent " she was joking about herself then she started washing her face

After 20 mins
she is finally get ready and she went to the kitchen she saw her jobless brother sleeping in the couch

She closed her nose with her fingers because of the alcohol smell

" I'm surprised how he still look ugly without doing nothing " she started laughing at him

She grabbed one the apples on the table and went the door

" I'm leaving " she rised her voice so her mom can hear her

She left home and went to the bus station

" I'm glad I'm not late for the bus " she smiled after muttered that

sat down waiting for the bus listening to music just some random music

She notice man sitting next her wearing suit and looking so handsome

" I never saw him before " she taught about that

She didn't realized she was looking at him for too long until he look at her she looked away

" fuck I got caught " she said that inside her feeling embarrassed

The man just smiled at her reaction

" are you going to school ?" He asked her out of blue

She faced him with confused face not sure if he was talking to her but she was the only one there

" yes " she answered him with a bit of awkwardness

" how do you know my name ?" She stand up from her place feeling scared

He was surprise by her reaction then he started laughing at her

" are you laughing? What is funny ?" She asked stepping away from him

" don't be scared I just read your name in your school uniform "

she give him confused face then she realised her name is on her uniform she look at him again

she started laughing sitting next to him avoiding the awkward situation

" you scared me " she smacked his back sitting next him again

He just give her confused face after she smacked his back

But it seems she don't really care she was just faking her laugh

" then what's your name ?" She asked him trying to change the topic

" my name is sim jaeyun " he answered her

" beautiful name it suit you so well " she started clapping her hands and smiling awkwardly

He was just confused of her actions but he just smiled she is just Highschool student

The bus finally arrived they both entered the bus but there was only one place free

" you can sit sir I need to respect elders " she smiled at him

" you have good manners I taught you are weird student " he said before sitting on his place

" weird student ?" She was bit confused by his words

" don't worry that good thing " he smiled at her she smiled back still feeling confused

The bus arrived to her school

" see you mr sim " she waved at him before leaving the bus

He was about to wave back but she was already gone he smiled finding her cute

Jiwoo was sitting alone during the first class she don't really have friends at school

She was sitting next the window watching the clear beautiful sky from it not paying attention to the teacher

The class was finally done

All the student started speaking and some went outside expect her she was listening to music putting her head on the table

until group of students came to her class she didn't see them because she was looking at the window

" kang jiwoo " one of the girls shout her name with anger

she didn't answer her back because she didn't hear her

" what with this crazy bitch she didn't really hear me" that girl said with anger after she went to Jiwoo place

She took off the earphones from Jiwoo making her wake up

She just sigh after she realised the person standing next her

" what are you doing Kim yerim?" she asked her with poker face

" guys look at this bitch pretending she don't care about nothing " yerim started laughing with her friends while jiwoo didn't even smile

suddenly yerim grabbed jiwoo from her hair and throw her from her chair to the floor

Jiwoo didn't even react she stand up from her place and faced yerim

" if you want hit me let go outside the teacher gonna come soon " she said it with smile this time

" well good you are smart kid even with these bad grades " yerim put her arm around Jiwoo arm and walked her out the class

Jiwoo was sitting at the convince store eating her ramyeon with face full of bruises she got beat up by her classmates well her bullies

She wasn't really sad or mad she is used to it they've been bullying her for 3 years

She was just eating peacefully until she heard someone calling her name
