Chapter 3 : family

jake woke up early in morning around 5 am to go for some walk

He wear his outfit and had some water before he went outside

He doing some run and workout around the village

The sky was so beautiful and the weather was great he was listening to some songs wearing his AirPods

He was running until he stopped he was already infront jiwoo house

In jiwoo side

She was lying on her bed she didn't sleep the whole night it kinda thing when she don't feel okey she can't sleep

She look at the window next to her bed it was already morning

She stand up from her bed to close the window but she notice jake standing infront her house

He saw her he was surprise she was awake this time

" Hyung " she called him and wave at him

He smiled and waved back but he was still confused how she is awake this time

She run to door and went outside to see him

She opened her house door ans went outside and run to man standing infront of her

" hyung what are you doing here ?" She asked him still smiling

He notice her eyebags and how tired they looked

"She was crying " he taught about that

" I always go for walk this hour the weather is so good " he said fixing her hair

" can I join you I don't have anything to do now " she asked him excitedly

" you don't have school ?" He asked her

" I'm not going today you can see how my face is looking " she said that with smile but she wasn't really giving real smile

He just nods and they both started walking together

The view of the beach and the sunrise it was so beautiful

The wind was bothering her because she have long hair

He notice that he stopped Walking she stopped too he hand her hair tie

" why you have hair tie with you ?" She giggled asking him this question finding weird

" I don't know I always have one with me "
He lied it was actually for hair

" good reason thank you " she said that before taking the hair tie and tied her hair into ponytail

he smiled hearing that "good reason " again finding cute she always say that out of blue

It already 6 am they stopped infront of her house she need to go back before her mom wake up

" thank you for this morning walk I feel so fresh " she give him thumbs up

" no problem " he laugh finding her cute again

She was about to go to her house but he stopped her calling her name

She turned around waiting for him to speak

He took out something from his pocket and gave it to her

She opened her hand it was AirPods she looked at him in confusion

" this is a gift I notice you broke your earphones yesterday " he put his hand behind his neck feeling shy

" but why are you gifting me this " she still find it uncomfortable taking his AirPods

" I don't listen to music a lot and you seem like you love listening to it so you can take it " he smiled the end of his sentence

" thank you I'll use them carefully "She smiled back at him and bowed

" no need take care I need to go now " he pat her head

she just nods and watched him walking away from her house

She is finally at home she was laying on her bed listening to music using jake AirPods

until her mom walked to her mom

She took out her airpods and fixed her sitting

" you are already awake ?" Her mom asked awkwardly

Jiwoo just nods without giving response

" jiwoo-ah I'm sorry yesterday I was harsh with you " her mom said that sitting next to her daughter

" it's okey you don't have to apologise im fine " she looked away avoiding eye contact

her mom put their hands together making jiwoo change her gaze looking at her mother

" since your dad passed away I was scared how I'm gonna take care of you and your brother you were only 2 and your brother was 7 you know your father family they didn't like me that way I was so scared when I saw you hurt like this again I'm sorry I can't do nothing about it dear daughter "

Her mom words made jiwoo cry she didn't want to cry but she couldn't control her tears

" honey promise me you will tell me everything if something like this happened " her mom wiped her tears and waited for her daughter to give her promise finger

Jiwoo just looked at her mom for minutes and then she hugged her making her mom surprise

" I'm sorry mom for making you upset " she put her head on her mom shoulder

" it's okey honey everything gonna be okey " she patted her daughter back gently

" what is this at 7 in morning " her brother said that standing next to the door with cross arms

They just looked at him started laughing at him he was looking confused

" I can't believe this two old women im gonna just go back to sleep don't be loud " he said that before went back to his room

The daughter and the mother looked at each other started laughing again
