Chapter 2 : first time

she looked at the man standing infront of her she smiled when she saw him

" mr sim what are you doing here ?" She asked him she was surprised they met again

" I live here " he answered sitting next her

" really ? That mean we are neighbours " she said that then she continued eating her rameyeon

" I just moved here last week but im glad I met you " he said patting her head

she didn't expect him to pat her head no one did that to her before but she felt comfortable with him

" do you want anything I will buy something "

Her eyes winded after hearing him

" of course I want another cup of ramyeon and strawberry milk please " she moved closer to him making eye contact

" I'll be back wait for me here " he stand up from his place and went into convenience store

She finished her ramyeon she was waiting for jaeyun to come

He finally arrived with cup of ramyeon with chocolate milk and strawberry milk

She helped him taking the ramyeon and the strawberry milk from his hands

" enjoy you your food jiwoo-ah " he said that opening his chocolate milk

" thank you so much mr sim " he bowed to him before she started eating her food

" don't call me mr sim it awkward I bet you only 3 years younger than me " he said that felt awkward her calling him mr

" I'm sorry but what should call you ? don't tell me to call you oppa I can't say this " she said drinking her milk

He chocked drinking his chocolate milk he started at her she was confused because of his reaction

" oppa , I don't like this either just call me jake I don't mind if you speak informal with me " he looked away feeling embarrassed

" jake ? are you American?" She was laughing she taught he is joking

" I'm not American I'm Australian " he said that looking serious

" I'm sorry " she felt embarrassed because of her reaction to him

" but really you are Australian then what are you doing here I this poor village " she added

" Pyeongtaek is my parents home town so I wanted to live here Better than in Australia " he explained to her

She stayed silent for minutes

" good reason " she said after she opened her strawberry milk

" good reason ?! I didn't expect this answer " he giggled in his talk

" should we go now I need to walk after eating this much " she said that after standing up from her place

he nodded and join her walk

Both were drinking their drinks and walking together druing sunset

The weather was warm not cold but not hot just perfect

" can I ask you something?" She said that without looking at him

He nods waiting for her to speak

" why you didn't ask me about the bruises on my face " after she said they both stopped walking she still not looking at him

" well if you wanted to talk about it I'm here if you don't want to I'm also here with you "

His words that was the first time someone said that to her

She looked at him .. both were staring at each other without saying any word

" you are good person " She broke the silence that with a smile

He blushed because of her word he looked away then smiled to her

" you are saying that because I bought ramyeon and strawberry milk " she smirked making her feel nervous

" no I mean yes continue buying me strawberry milk from now on " she smacked her arm lightly

" is smaking people your job " he said that touching his arm acting like it hurt but it didn't

" maybe " she said that stepping two step after him

" this my home thank you walking me home .. jake hyung " she smiled at him

" hyung ? Don't call me like that " he mess her hair

" alright then call me whatever you want " he said that lowing his height to match her height

" I need to go now see you tomorrow hyung " she felt shy because his face was so close to hers

he step away from her and waved at her she enter her house

minute she enter her house her smile faded she know her mom gonna cause a drama because of her bruises

" I'm home " she said that taking her shoes off

Her mom walking to the kitchen she saw her daughter face full of bruises

Clothes in her hands fell from her hands started trembling

She hurry run to her daughter and she put her arms around her shoulder

" what happened to your face ? Who did that to you " her mom voice was shaking and she was crying

" I fell at school it not bad thing mom "
Jiwoo moved her mom arms from her shoulder

" don't lie to me ... is it them your ex friends ?"
Her mom stopped her from walking away

Jiwoo didn't say a word she just looked away trying to hold her cry

" I told you to ignore them jiwoo why are you being this difficult "

" mom just leave me alone I'm already tired " she didn't want to argue with her mom

" I will take you to another school "

Jiwoo looked at her mother in shock she felt angry and mad

" mom I told you I'm okey just leave me alone " she yell at her mom crying

" I'm not gonna leave you alone you are my daughter " her mom yelled back

her brother came out his room after hearing them yelling

" if you care about me just leave me alone I know how to solve my problems "

" all I want you to do is to do good at school and have good friends and live like other kids why are you being like this jiwoo " her mom sat on the floor feeling tired arguing with her daughter

" I'm sorry I'm disappointed daughter mom " she said that and went to her room and locked the door

She was about to put her earphones but she notice they were broken

She just stayed silence looking at the ceiling of her room before she started crying
