Chapter 14 : the end

days became weeks and weeks became months jiwoo hasn't comeback since the day she left

after 10 years both of them haven't met yet he still working as teacher in the small village

but no one did that to him even after all this year he still have a hope of meeting her again

He was in his way to his house it was afternoon he was walking by cafeteria next to the school

It was new cafeteria he never saw it before he decide to take a look inside

As soon as he opened the door he notice Familiar figure he haven't met in long while

When their eyes he couldn't believe his eyes .. it was her

When she notice at him she smiled like her usual smile never changed

he approached herself to him .. she is already standing infront of him

" its been a while ... " she said her smile not leaving her face

he couldn't say anything at this moment he was just staring at her she looked the same but somehow she changed

Her style .. her hair .. the way she standing .. she is mature now

she is wearing makeup she looked beautiful

But her smile never changed she still have her bright heart shape smile

" can we talk for a bit ?" She asked him after she notice he was a bit shock

He just nodded his head and follow her

Both of them were standing in front of each other

Don't know what to say to each other after 10 years of being apart

" How is your life now ?" He asked with low tone he still can't believe that she is infront of him

She took sip of her drink before she answer

" I'm working as Administrative assistant it pretty hard but I'm doing my best I guess "

She answered his question he notice the way she speak now it different she use different tone

But she isn't 19 years old girl anymore she is 29 now

" what about you ?" She asked him

" I'm still a teacher at the old middle school you know about it " he answer the question with a smile

" you still the same sim jaeyun " after she finished her phrase with his real name

Kinda made him feel less closer to her she used to call him " hyung " all the time

But now they are kinda strangers... he hate that word

" are you married now ?" She asked made him look at her with confused face

He was expecting this question from her ... then he realized for past 10 years his heart was only looking for her

He couldn't fall in love with someone else because deep down he was still having a hope she will comeback

" no " he gave her this short answer maybe he still have a chance after all this years

" really ? Sorry for asking this I think it something personal " she apologised to him

he just looked at hee he was already disappointed how she is acting like they weren't close enough

But he faked his smile and tell her it's okey so he don't make the situation worst

" what about you ?" He asked her but deep down he feel afraid for asking this

" I'm already married of course I have a daughter she is so cute you need to see her " she answered his question before she was looking at her phone to find picture of her daughter

At that moment his heart dropped the answer he was afraid to hear she just said it

he had to continue faking his reaction looking at her smiling while showing me her daughter picture

" isn't she so cute " she said while smiling so bright he just nodded

He was holding his tears while smiling at her back

He was hurt inside but he somehow he was happy to see her smiling like that

Like how she used to smile everyday when she was him

After while both were escaping the cafeteria

" it was nice to see you again " she said to him with smile

" it was nice to see you too " he answered with smile

" this probably gonna be our last time seeing each other... have a good life hyung "

The word of hyung made him go back to their memories together and those memories made him think kang jiwoo she will always be the same for him no matter what

He nodded with his head

" you can go first I'll go after you " she said

" no you go first I want watch your back from behind " he said

" even at the last time you being gentleman .. I'll go first take care " she said before leaving

He watched her back leaving him alone again but this time he was ready to let her go

" goodbye forever kangjiwoo "

That was the last thing he said before leaving too

Now our both leads character left for their own life
Even after years and years he didn't manage to get married to someone else

he became a good professor in good university it wasn't his dream but it was good for him

Jiwoo was busy between her current job and being a mother

But she having her happy family was all her happiness

Some will find this as sad ending for me it's not

I made this ending cause for this is the realistic ending

At least both of them are happy
