jiwoo couldn't say anything she didn't expect this answer from him

Her heart was beating so fast about to explode specially when his bright doe eyes focusing on her

She was about to say something but she heard familiar voice calling her name

She turned around it was her mother coming back from grocery store after buying some stuff

" jiwoo what are doing here ?" Her mom asked her daughter she was standing there next to tall man

Her mom notice the man standing infront her daughter he bowed to her after making eye contact

" who are you ?" She asked him confusing what her 19 years old daughter doing with random man outside

" hello ma'am my name is sim jaeyun " he said feeling nervous her mom was looking at him

" what your relationship with my jiwoo .. are you her boyfriend " after she said that both jake and jiwoo look at her in shock

" no mom it not like this " jiwoo give her mom awkward laugh avoiding the situation

" then what your relationship?" she still confusing because she know her daughter don't know so many people in this small town

jiwoo was confused what to say after jake just confess his feeling to her

He notice her nervousness regretting his confessing in the bad time

" we are friends " he said making jiwoo looking at him she taught he will just leave don't make the situation more weird

" jiwoo you got new friend why you didn't tell me " her mom said hitting her daughter shoulder

" why are you hitting my shoulder Mom " she raised a bit her voice

" I'm sorry I taught you are her boyfriend " her mom bowed to him feeling awkward she taught he is her daughter boyfriend he probably have girlfriend already

" it's okey ma'am it not something to apologise for " this sentence made her mom looking at him she notice he is wearing suit and looking so handsome

" do you want eat dinner with us ?" again she made them both looking at her in confusion

He was about to reject her order don't want to make jiwoo feel more nervous but she grabbed him from his arm and dragged him inside their house

They were sitting next to each other at the dinner table while her mom and brother facing them

Jiwoo brother was looking at jake in jealousy eyes because how handsome he is and also have job at young age

" our jaeyun then you are the new middle school math teacher here ?" Her mom said with smile

" our jaeyun why she is calling him like this " jiwoo taught about this

" yes I'm only replacement until the real teacher comeback " he answered with smile too

" oh really then do you live alone ? With your parents? Wife ? Girlfriend?" She asked again

" mom stop asking him let him eat " he was about to answer but jiwoo yelled at her mom feeling annoyed

" I'm just asking him because he is new here " her mom felt annoyed too because of her daughter action

" I live alone my parents still in Australia and I don't have wife or girlfriend " he answered making them looking at him

Jiwoo just sigh her mom and brother were shock about his answer

" you don't have girlfriend with this face " her brother finally spoke making jake smile about what he said

" your parents are in Australia then you are Australian?" Her mom said still shock

He just nodded making her clapped her hands shock

" so you are good at English ?" She asked again he nodded and smiled remember that jiwoo made the same reaction

Her brother stand from his seat making everyone looking at him in confusion

" I respect you sir "Out of sudden he bowed to jake making the other confused

" you don't have to call me like this " jake stand up from his place he felt awkward her brother seems older than him

" then let be friends instead of this dumb jiwoo " he made jiwoo looking at him in death eyes

" oppa what are you saying do you want die " she said after standing hitting her brother back

He just mocked her voice making her more angry before they start fighting like little kids

Her mom and jake started at each and start laughing at them

" these are side dishes when you finished them tell me I will pack more for you " her mom gave him boxes of side dishes she packed for him

" thank you a lot ma'am you don't have to do this " he bowed thanking her

" don't call me ma'am just call me mom I'm like your mom since you are jiwoo friend "

He smiled and nodded and bowed again

He was about to leave but jiwoo followed him from behind her mom looked at her daughter she understood the situation she just left

Jiwoo was standing at the door and jake was already outside

" thank you for today it was nice meeting your family " he said smiling at her

This smile for reason made her heart flutters and her cheeks were bit red

" I didn't do anything though " she said that avoiding eye contact playing with her fingers

he looked away smiling finding her adorable being shy

He looked back at her and he get more closer to her she notice he is coming closer she finally looked at him

He was right infront of her smiling making her heart going crazy

" see you tomorrow jiwoo " he said patting her head before he left

Letting her froze in her place
