Chapter 12 " good bye "

jiwoo was coming back from school with jake After he bought her strawberry milk

They were laughing and chatting like always until they stopped near her house

She saw police was there with ambulance she was confused about what is going there

After minutes she saw her brother crying crying outside

She dropped her strawberry milk and run to her brother jake Followed her

" what is going here ? Why are you crying ?" She asked her Brother trying to not believe what her taught are telling her

" jiwoo what we should do know ?" Her brother said looking at her with teary eyes

this moment she felt weak on her knees she couldn't stand up for second she fell on the floor she saw them take out the body of her poor mother.

Jake got on his knees he Hold her hands she couldn't even look at him

The day she wasn't ready for happened she lost her precious mother who rised her alone with all love and support

Jake couldn't say anything he was also shock he just saw her mother weeks ago now she left them alone

It was the funeral day jiwoo was sitting infront of her mom picture she didn't even cry

She was still in shock she don't want believe what just happened out of sudden

Her Brother was next to her crying he bowed to people who come to visit her mom

it was just few people her mother family didn't even bother to visit them

jake was helping them to welcoming people who came he was serving food for the people there

his eyes were checking on jiwoo Most of the time he was so Worried about her

She didn't sleep or eat or even cry she didn't even talk to them she looked she lost her soul too

After some minutes some people entered the funeral room some old men with old woman

He knew it was her father family finally decided to show up and visit them

her grandma entered the room where jiwoo and her brother were sitting

That time when jiwoo saw her grandma she couldn't feel happy or Relief she was so mad

She knew what her grandma did the her mother what her mom went through because of her

" what are you doing here get out " jiwoo yelled at her grandma face making everyone look at her

" yah kang jiwoo this is grandma how dare you to yell at her like that " one of her uncles said

she didn't say anything she didn't even have energy to argue with them

Jake saw that jiwoo was so weak to deal with this he went to her

" excuse me mrs jiwoo is Not feeling well can you please leave her alone " he said after he stand infront of jiwoo

" who do you think you are ? " one of the uncles came infront of jake looking mad

" I'm jiwoo boyfriend please she is not feeling well please leave right now " he said that with no hesitate he kept his Poker Face he was a bit scared

" boyfriend ? If you are her boyfriend this is her grandma you still don't have right to say that to her " her uncle was yelling at jake

" I know but y'all Need to leave now I don't care who are you but I care about jiwoo so leave Right now "

One of her uncles was about to hit him but her grandma stopped him she fixed her gaze to jiwoo behind Jake

" I'm not here to cause any problems with you jiwoo i came here for Offering you a condolences and I want you to know that I am there if you need anything " her grandma said that before leaving the room with her uncles

After she left jake looked at jiwoo who was behind she was looking at him crying

he Immediately hugged her she finally let her self cry escaping the shock she went through

" its okey I'm here with you " He patted her back and kept telling her the same thing

After week jiwoo didnt Go to school and she didn't meet jake after funeral

He was busy with his work it was exmas period they talked with each other on the phone but didn't meet Face to face

After exmas period finished jake finally was able to visit jiwoo

He was in his way to her house holding strawberry milk feeling happy

He notice that jiwoo was waiting for him outside he smiled when he saw her

" you were waiting from me ?" He said smiling to her she just nodded without looking at him

She was looking at the ground couldn't make eye contact with him

He felt something bad is happening .. his smiled fade

" are you okey ?" He asked her she finally looked at him her eyes were so red like she was crying

" I'm sorry " she said making him confused why she apologising out of sudden

" why are you apologising? What happened?" He said he started to get nervous

" I'm leaving " she said that he felt his heart dropped he knew this gonna happened

" what do you mean ? Where are you leaving ?" He asked her

" I'm leaving to my grandma house she said will take care of me even when I refused she brings lawyer who said she have Right to do that but I don't want leave I really don't want to " in her last sentence her eyes became teary again

He knew he cant do nothing about this her grandma can take care of her she still Minor that the best thing for her since her brother is jobless can't take care of her

He stayed silence cause he know when she will Leave he can't see her again

She notice his facial expressions he was looking so down she didn't want to leave him

Specially when she finally understand her feelings through him

she hold his face with her hands making him looking at her ... then she kissed him

That was the last moment between them
