Chapter 11

                                  Alyx's POV
"Did you get her?"

"I got her. I-I have another daughter."

"Really? How does that make you feel?"

"I'm not sure. She knew who I am though. She told me that Clara's dead."

"Oh god. I'm so sorry. How does that make you feel?"

"So many things. I-I have to find her body first."

"Hold on baby. Let me finish up in here. You can tell me more then. Okay?"

"I-I'm sorry I bothered you with this as soon as I walked in."

"You didn't bother me."

I quickly finished my shower. I got out of the bathroom and found Asher sitting on the bed.

"Hey. I'm here."

I sat down next to him.

"Are they downstairs?"

"Yeah. I-I have no idea how...I'm supposed to tell Pixie about Clara."

"So you're not sure if, she's actually dead?"

"No. I don't. That's actually bothering me Aly. I've been spending years trying to get over her. Now...now I'm being told...she's dead?"

"Do you want me to go somewhere else for a few days?"

"No. God no. Please no."

"Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. What's her name? Can I go meet her?"

"Yeah. Sure. She's very shy. It's Rosemary."

"Don't worry. I've got this. My brother was shy for a while."

I got up and walked downstairs. I found the girls in the living room playing. I walked over to them.

"Hey girls."

Rosemary jumped up.

"Oh no! I-I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I'm Alyx. I'm Asher's mate. I'm really sorry Rosemary."

"Don't worry. Mommy's really nice. She won't hurt you."

She tilted her head to the side.

"It's okay. You don't have to call me that. It's okay."

2 weeks later...Asher was up early.

"Oh no. You're talking to Jonah, aren't you?"

He didn't answer.

"Ash?"

"Yes. I am."

"Wh-what are you gonna do?"

"I have no idea yet."

"When's the first time...you killed someone?"

"Way too young."

"How young?"

"15."

"You remember?"

"It's engraved into my brain. It's done. It happened. I don't talk about it. I kill who I need to. If I have to kill Jonah, oh well. He'll just die. I hope this doesn't chase you away like it did Clara."

"This chased her away?"

"Yeah. We did have our own issues but, she didn't deserve whatever he did to her."

Hearing him talk about her like that...

Kinda stings.

"If I have to kill someone for every member of this family, I will. I've already killed someone for Rose. I'll kill someone for you. I'll kill someone for Pixie."

"Y-you would?"

He slowly nodded.

"Yes. I'll be back."

He walked over to me and kissed me.

"He'll pay for what he's done to everyone. Especially you."

"Really?"

"Yes. I will make him suffer."

Why does that make me happy?

Anne: You'll finally get justice and closure. That's why. He will get what he deserves.
