Chapter 2 I Fake Relationship

Maddy was scanning the room.

She's probably looking for me.

I can feel rage wash over me.

"Oi Danny, you see the lady with long blonde hair that's scanning the room?" I asked quietly to Danny.

"Yeah," Danny replied quietly.

"Was she the one who was obsessed with you ?" Danny asked quietly.

"Not was, is. And yes." I sighed. "I have to move school again," I replied quietly as I ran my hand through my hair frustratingly.

"I've got a plan. And it doesn't involve moving schools and this may get her off your back. We start a fake relationship." Danny said quietly.

"A fake relationship?" I asked quietly.

"We pretend to date. She'll get jealous. She breaks up with you. So are you in?" Danny asked quietly.

"Yeah sure," I replied quietly.

I saw Maddy look at me and smiled. She started walking up to us.

"Hey, baby," Maddy said as she tried to kiss me but I put my hand on her mouth and pushed it gently and she stumbled a bit.

"I've got a girlfriend," I said to Maddy.

I can see rage fill her eyes.

Danny wrapped her arm around my shoulder and kissed my temple.

"You're cheating on me!" She yelled in a high-pitched voice.

Everyone turned to look at us. Some people even started recording.

I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.

"How can I cheat on you if we never dated?" I asked Maddy.

"We are dating! We fucked once!" Maddy screeched.

"That doesn't mean we're dating!" I yelled.

"Maddy take a seat and stop bothering Danny and Mary. This is your first warning if you keep this up then you're going to the principal." The teacher said calmly to Maddy.

She glared at us.

"We're done!" She yelled at me.

"Again we were never dating," I replied.

Maddy stormed off towards her seat.

"Told you this would work," Danny said to me quietly.

"Thanks," I said quietly while smiling.

"You're welcome." She replied quietly.

"Do we need to keep fake dating?" I asked.

"Yes. Until she leaves this school or until we graduate." Danny replied.

"Ok, I am fine with that. Oh yeah and thank you." I replied.

"No worries," Danny replied.

I'm glad that I got Maddy off my back.

Now I can do whatever I want without her bothering me. I can be free to be me, and not have Maddy control me. And it's all thanks to Danny for helping me.

A few hours later it was lunch.

Danny and I are cuddling on the bench we sit at eating our lunches.

Danny has their warm arm around my back.

I was eating a chicken, lettuce, cheese, and mayo salad while Danny was eating four nuggets and chips with tomato sauce.
