Was it because you were so spoiled by Giran that you forgot about the human body's desperate need for food and water? Or was it because you were being protected by such a big name that you could live happily. Did Giran love you so much, as if you were his daughter, that you forgot about the rest of the world? Just because he promised you a great life and kept his promise doesn't mean the next one will. You had to learn that the hard way.

However, you knew how it felt. You knew the feeling of being neglected by everyone. You knew the pain of starving for days, especially going days without water. Back in the day, you were able to manage by picking up scraps and getting through by drinking droplets of rain.

It was almost like you went back in time, and you are now reliving those horrible days once again. It was horrible.
