Mornings were always his favorites.
Oh, obviously, the worst part about mornings is waking up, but for the Japanese male, they were always his favorites. Waking up to the sunlight peeking out from the curtains, making you squeeze your eyes shut before opening them to adjust to the light. Just as your mornings could start, you look down to see the love of your life in your arms, sleeping peacefully, like nothing could hurt them, they didn't have a care in this world.
For most of his life, Jae absolutely hated mornings. He hated waking up early just to go to school, or really waking up in general, but, now at 36 years old, he enjoys them. Enjoys the feeling of the sunlight tickling his skin, the feeling of his little one in his arms, the feeling of his heart pounding in his chest when tracing along the jawline of his little one, the giddy feeling when pressing little kisses all over his little one's face, a deep, rumbling feeling vibrating in his chest as he chuckles when seeing his little one whine cause of the kisses, the soft "I love you" leaving his lips with a soft morning kiss planted on their lips, a blush adoring on their cheeks, even after all these years, Jae could still feel those feels that he had when he was just 20. It's comforting, warm, and loving. Loving, oh, how much he adores love. Oh, he's lovesick to love.
Waking up, Jae stenches his body, extending his arms, letting out a sigh as he scrunches his nose when the sunlight peeked through the curtains. He sighed, once again, looking over to the clock. 9:30. Hm, that's earlier than usual. Ever since Blackpink's disbandment in 2026 due to the lack of comebacks and each member going off into their separate directions, Jae has been waking up a lot later than usual. It's nice, waking any time he wants, it's refreshing, relaxing, it gives him time to think and reflect on certain things, and feel the breeze of the air caress his cheeks.
Jae sighed, once more, as he turned to look over at the male in his arms, clinging onto him like a baby koala. He, slowly and carefully, traced his hand on the younger's face. Jungkook aged like fine wine, Jae swore he aged backwards, he looks like he just turned 21 again. His hair is longer, till his chin, it was pretty, really pretty, he was pretty, he's 35 and yet he still pulled off long hair as if he was still 20. Slowly he traced his hand to the lips that were in the form of a pout, stroking it with such softness, he couldn't help but kiss those pout lips. The kiss was sweet, and was meant to last shorter but he slowly found himself unable to remove his own away from the lips, it's like they were magnets. The kiss was soft, careful, loving, the butterflies in his stomach could tell you, Jae slowly caressed Jungkook's cheek, tracing his jawline and he couldn't help but chuckle when he felt the younger slowly waking, kissing him back.
