Chapter 8: The Battle of Starcourt

JULES POV:
El screams and sobs in pain.
We look at her leg.
We see something moving inside.
"What is that?" Erica asks.
"There's something in there." Mike said.
"No!" El screams as the thing inside El's leg starts to move more.
"Jesus Christ!" I said.
"Keep her talking. Keep her awake, okay?" Jonathan said as he ran towards a service counter.
"Hey, hey, hey. Stay awake, stay awake. Let's get her on this side, on this side." Mike said.
"Easy, easy, easy, easy." Steve said.
We move El on that side.
Mike puts El's head on is lap.
"It's, uh... You know it's not actually that bad. There was a... The goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire, this other girl slid into her leg, and the whole bone came out of her knee, it was, like, six inches or something, it was insane." Robin said.
We all looked at her.
"Robin." Steve said.
"You're not helping." Steve told Robin.
"I'm sorry." Robin replied.
Jonathan came back with a knife, big wooden spoon, and a pair of plastic gloves.
He kneels down.
"Okay. All right, El?" Jonathan said.
"This is gonna hurt like hell, okay?" Jonathan told El.
"Okay." El replied, while sobbing.
"I nee you to stay real still." Jonathan told El as he puts the gloves on.
Here, you're gonna want to bite down on this, okay?" Jonathan said, and gives Mike the wooden spoon, and puts it in El's mouth.
El bites the wooden spoon.
"Jesus Christ." Dustin said.
Jonathan grabs the knife and points it at El's leg.
"Holy shit, you're really gonna do that?" I ask Jonathan.
"Holy shit. Holy shit." Dustin said.
Jonathan looks at Mike and Eleven.
Mike looks at Jonathan.
"Do it." He told Jonathan.
"Okay." Jonathan replied.
Then Jonathan cuts open El's leg.
El screams in pain.
"Oh, shit!" Dustin said.
El screams and sobs in pain.
Then Jonathan drops the knife.
Then Jonathan inserts his fingers inside El's leg.
"Oh, shit!" I said.
Mike exclaims.
El screams in pain.
"Jonathan!" Nancy yells.
"Hey, stop talking!" Jonathan said.
Jonathan tries to grab the thing that's inside El's leg, but he missed.
"Goddamn it!" Jonathan said.
El removes the spoon in her mouth.
"No! Stop it!" El yells.
