Chapter 9: The Piggyback

JULES POV:

We are all currently looking around the house to find Vecna.

Then we heard that Erica found Vecna.

We come to the spot where she found Vecna, we see her lantern glowing.

Max walks towards the lantern, and her lantern glows as well.

Erica writes something on her small notebook.

"Phase one?"  Erica writes.

Lucas nods as a response.

Erica nods aswell, and hurriedly gets out of the house and rushes to her place which is the playground right across us.

Lucas is currently looking around the house, so it's just me and Max.

We are waiting for Erica to send a signal.

Max is blasting Kate Bush in her headphone.

It was dead silent.

Then Max suddenly grabs her a pen and her small notebook.

She starts writing something.

She shows the message.

"Hi." The message says.

Max smiles and I smiled back.

I grabbed my pen and my small notebook aswell to write something.

"Hi:)" i show the message.

she smiles even widely.

She writes something again.

"I'm glad you're here." she writes.

I smiled widely.

"Me too!"  I wrote.

We both smiled widely at eachother, until, Max starts to write something again.

"Movie Friday?" She wrote as she shrugs her shoulders.

As I read her message, i start to draw max and i in a movie theater.

Max tries to peak.

But, i back up so she doesn't see my drawing yet.

then i continued drawing.

as i finished drawing i showed it to her.

she softly chuckles.

and i slowly smiled again.

she's so beautiful.

Then we realize that Erica was sending a signal to us.

We both look out the window to check.

Erica was blinking her flashlight to us.

We send a signal back to her by blinking our flashlight aswell.

It is time for us to move to phase two.

We're on our way to the room where Vecna is.

Max ties her shoes first before going in to the room.

Max is breathing heavily.

Max removes her headphones and turns off her walkman.

Max turns to me.

And then suddenly places her soft lips against mine.

She slowly pulls away.

"I love you." she whispers.
