(Alexandrite's POV)
We found ourselves laying down besides a tree as we tried to regain our breaths
"you think we lost them?" Aisha asked as she gripped Leo's arm
I look behind us looking for our captors not seing anyone
"yeah I think we lost them but where are we?" I say scanning our soroundings
"wait I recognize this forest!" Aisha excitedly say
"this is the forest next to our village!" she happily say
"well lead the way Aisha" Leon said with a tiny smile
She led us through the dense forest, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of relief and apprehension. Finding ourselves in familiar territory gave us a glimmer of hope, but at the same time, we were still on the run, unsure of who we could trust. The shadows cast by the towering trees seemed to whisper secrets, adding to the eerie atmosphere surrounding us.
As we emerged from the forest, the village came into view, nestled in a tranquil valley. It was a quaint settlement, with thatched-roof cottages and colorful gardens. Smoke rose from chimneys, and the air was filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals.

We cautiously approached the outskirts of the village, our eyes darting around for any signs of danger. Aisha quickened her pace, her excitement evident as she recognized familiar faces in the distance.
"Wait! Aisha, are you sure it's safe?" I whispered, grabbing her arm gently.
She turned to me, her eyes sparkling with determination. "I know these people, Lex. They will help us. They're my family."
I glanced at Leon, who nodded in agreement. Taking a deep breath, I decided to trust Aisha's judgment. After all, she knew these lands better than anyone. We followed her as she led us through the winding paths towards the heart of the village.
As we entered the village square, we were greeted by curious onlookers. The villagers paused in their daily routines, their eyes widening at the sight of us. Whispers filled the air, speculation hanging heavy.
A familiar voice broke through the crowd. "Aisha! Is that really you?"
A middle-aged woman, her face etched with worry, her ash like black hair flew with the winds her beautiful blue eyes shining with worry pushed her way forward. Tears welled up in her sapphire blue eyes as she embraced her daughter tightly. The villagers watched with a mix of relief and concern, their expressions a reflection of the tumultuous times we found ourselves in.
She turned to us, her happy face turned skeptical towards us. "who are you two?" she ask curious as she held Aisha tightly
"they're my new friends they were also kidnapped." Aisha explained
"oh you poor things" she muttered pitying us
"well by the time being you two can stay at our cottage until you both can get home safely" she said with a smile
With Aisha and the woman's help, we were ushered into a cozy cottage, where a warm fire crackled in the hearth. The scent of herbal remedies filled the room.
As we sat there the weight of our recent ordeal began to lift.
I glanced at Aisha, I smiled at her "thank you for letting us stay here"
she smiled back "it's no problem I'm glad I could help" she answered with a small smile
"I made cookies you three want some?" the woman said holding a tray of cookies as she smile
"we would love some thanks mom" Aisha said with a smile as she took the tray and laid it down at the table
"I haven't introduced myself yet so let me introduce myself! My name is Alice I'm Aisha's mother as you may have guessed" she said as she sat down besides us
"it's nice to meet you Mrs Alice my name is Leonardo but you may call me Leon" Leon said with no emotion
"it's nice to meet you too miss Alice! I'm Lex" I introduced myself in a cheerful manner
"oh it's nice too meet you too boys but please just call me Alice" Alice said with a smile
Then the door burst open with a 12 or 13 year old black haired boy came in and immediately rushed to Aisha's side and hugged her
"I heard you came back so I rushed in as fast as I could to see you" he said in low voice still hugging Aisha tightly
"oh Callihan I'm so happy you're here!" Aisha said hugging him back
My eyes widen at the boys name it was Callihan the 4th male lead and the Heroine's childhood friend
"I'm so glad you're safe" he said with a smile finally breaking the hug "and who are they...?" he asked motioning to me and Leon
"oh they are Leon and Lex! They're my new friends! They were also kidnapped like me!" she said with a smile
He turned towards us his smile turning into a frown "it's nice to meet you both" he said begrudgingly
"it's nice to meet you too!" I say with a smile as Leon just looked at him with a scowl
"well I've got to go help with mom with chores I'll see you three later" Aisha said as she walked away to go to her mom leaving us alone in a deep suffocating awkward silence
"so Callihan right? So have you gotten your magic attribute yet?" I ask breaking the long awkward silence
"I have gotten my magic attribute!" he said with a prideful smile
"oh what is your magic attribute that made you so proud?" Leon ask curious with a little condescending tone
"I have a rare sword attribute!" he said proudly not noticing the condescending tone Leon used
"oh that's so cool that you have a rare attribute!" I say with a smile as Callihan smiled even more as Leon scowled at him
A few hours later me and Callihan started talking even more with Leon occasionally joining in the conversation then Aisha comes back
"oh it's so nice my friends are getting along!" she said with a small smile
"oh hi Aisha! Are you done with chores now?" I ask
"oh yes I'm done with chores! Uhm Callihan can I talk to you for a minute?" she ask
"uh sure" he say as he follows her outside
(Callahan's POV)
"what did you want to talk about?" I ask as I follow her deeper to the woods as we came to a stop she turned to me her smile became a frown
"I want you to stop being friends with him" she said with a scowl
"what?" I asked confused
"didn't you hear me? I said stop being friends with Lex"
