Mary was rushing all across the school building, intensively searching for a whitehaired girl. To Mary's misfortune there were a lot of students in the hallway around this time which were all making a lot of noise, making it therefore much harder for Mary to find the person she was looking for. Mary all of a sudden halted, to catch her breath as she had been running at a high intensity this whole time and also wanted to collect her thoughts a little more. Mary, slightly bent over, was resting her upper body on her knees while still looking around her with searching eyes. Mary sighted as she couldn't see the whitehaired girl anywhere.
"Where the hell can Ririka be? Did some teacher maybe intervene and take her to the office or something? It doesn't sound like something that teachers would do at our academy..." Mary could feel how her anxiety started to grow again. "Ririka has to be fine...right?" Mary gnashed her teeth in frustration as the situation seemed to just get worse the more she thought about it. The blonde girl stood up straight and took a deep breath. "Whatever, there's no point in being worried... I'll just have to keep searching." tried Mary to keep calm and think logically.
Mary looked around trying to decide in which direction to go when suddenly she coincidentally became aware of a conversation two boys had while slowly walking past the blonde girl. "Yo, I think I might have seen the president crying like everyone is talking about." shared one of the two students. The ginger boy looked surprised at his friend "Really? Tell me more! Do you have an idea what is going on, with all this?" His friend shook his head strongly "Are you crazy? The second I saw her I was out of there!" The ginger boy seemed confused "Huh? Daiki, why would you run away?" the boy asked that in an amused tone like he was making fun of his friend.
The other student seemed to be slightly offended and stopped walking to the ginger boys surprise. "There is no way I get involved with the president! I don't know what is going on, however after this will be over, I wouldn't be surprised if the president would get rid of all witnesses!" As he stated his reasoning, all of a sudden just acknowledging to be a witness suddenly let the boy feel extremely worried. The student looked up to the ginger boy, hoping for some reassuring words like, that everything would be fine. However upon seeing the ginger boy, he instead was confused why his friend gaped so terrified in his direction all of a sudden.
"James? You good?"
Daiki was confused about what had happened to his normally not very easily perturbed friend. He would soon find out, as it had been already too late for the witness when he suddenly felt a fierce hand on his shoulder. The boy instantly turned completely pale, managing to even compete with Ririkas hair color as his blood froze immediately. The boy gulped air and slowly found the courage to look over his shoulder. He was greeted with an extremely intimidating yellow stare.
"Ahhh!" the boy let out an extremely girlish and terrified scream. It slightly hurt Mary's ears so she vigorously pushed the student against the looker, letting all air, which he could've used to scream, flee from his lungs. Mary was in a hurry so she immediately cut to the chase while looking coldly at the boy. "Where have you seen...?" Before Mary even could finish her sentence, Daiki already interrupted her as he was seeing himself in a completely different scenario.
"Please have mercy! I swear I haven't seen anything! Just please don't hurt me! I just was at the wrong place at the wrong time, I would never talk bad about the president! Oh god, I will never see my parents again and instead I'll be at the bottom of a lake or worse!" The boy had a very vivid and excessive fantasy as he actually was in the belief that Mary was some kind of hitman taking care of witnesses. Daiki was at the verge of crying and had his eyes closed out of fear, while putting his arms protectively in front of his face. Mary watched annoyed how the student was putting up a whole show, which sadly Daiki was not doing on purpose. "Why are men this useless?" thought Mary annoyed to herself while her patience seemed to be going over its limit.
