One summer afternoon, I decided to take a break from my studies and hang out with my friends Ana and Lashae. We had been inseparable since elementary school, and Lashae and I had met in middle school. After I left my mom's house, their energy never switched, and they always stood by my side and were down to ride. I had been staying out more with them lately and just living life. As the night wore on, we continued to explore the neighborhood, stopping at different spots along the way. Eventually, we found ourselves at Lashae's house in Philly, where her boyfriend Zay was hosting a small gathering. Zay owned his own crib, and Lashae went there sometimes when her friends Gordon and Savana worked her nerves. Lashae was the friend with the car and whenever we got high and got the munchies we drove wherever Shae's hearts desired. Ana's family had her on lockdown even at 18 and had a curfew still. She wasn't even allowed to kiss her man until she was 21. I still think that boy cheating on her..Come on...he's a nigga nigga. As the night progressed, we all got high and watched a scary movie. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous around Lashae's boyfriend Zay's friend Kaleef, who rented from Zay. We spent some time upstairs while Lashae said we could chill since it seemed like they're gonna be up there for the rest of the night.
