When we finally pulled away from eachother, i leaned back on my arms. Adrien and i talked for some time but i noticed that he didn't dare to ask about my dissapearance. It looks like he didn't want to know it at all. I was kinda confused. "I heard that there was a new Ladybug, how was she?" i suddenly said. "Oh, erm.. She is okay i guess. But it still bothers me that no one really questioned where the real Ladybug went." he replied. My eyes looked down as i fiddeled with my blanket. So no one noticed that Ladybug dissapeared? 

~Adrien's Pov~

Marinette suddenly looked down at her bed when i answered her question. "Are you okay?" i asked. "Yeah.. I just zoned out." she said, giving me a quick smile. But something was off, i just knew it.

"Why aren't you asking anything about what happened?" Marinette suddenly started. My eyebrows raised in confusion. "What?" i said. "Well everyone kept asking things of where i had been for the past three months." she continued. Shoot, i forgot that she doesn't know that i already know what happened. Quickly thinking of a answer, i said "I just don't want you to think about it. You already gone through so much." My hand tucked a strand of Marinette's hair behind her ear.

We stared into eachothers eyes for some time. I couldn't help but admire those beautiful bluebell eyes. "Thank you.." she said, giving me a generous smile. Our moment got abrubtly disturbed when a nurse walked in. "Sorry to bother you, but visiting hours are over." the nurse said. My head lowered in dissapointment. "I'm sorry that this had to end quickly.." i said, not daring to make eye contact with Marinette. "It's okay, i am glad you came." she whispered. 

On my way back home, i kept thinking about what Marinette had gone through. The thoughts of her lifeless body in my arms sent shiver down my spine. I never want to see her hurt ever again. When my father got arrested, Scarabella, Mayura and i decided to keep Marinette's identity a secret. We knew that she wouldn't want everyone to know. 

~Marinette's Pov~    ~A week later~

I hestitantly opened the trapdoor that leads to my room. All the lights were turned off and the curtains were closed while dust was forming on my stuff. As i turned on the lights i sat down in the sofa. This is it, the room that i never returned in after a night out with my friends. I never thought that i will return safely. Tears formed into my eyes and i don't even know why. That was when i realized that something familiar was placed onto my desk.

But wait- those are my earrings! I quickly put the earrings on when a certain creature appeared. "Tikki?!" i said while tearing up. "Marinette?" she replied after opening her eyes. Not wasting a moment, we flew in for a hug. "I thought i would lose you!" i cried out. "Oh Marinette, i missed you every day." she said. 

We pulled away as we keep telling eachother how much we missed each. I can't wait again to just jump on the rooftops of Paris again. And i can't wait to see Cat Noir again. The last time i saw him was when i took my last breath.. But it seems a bit suspicious to transform into Ladybug just when my civillian form returned home. 

I started to go through my stuff. As i whiped the dust of my desk, i noticed that my bag was laying there. I thought i lost it! I quickly pulled out my phone and unlocked it. Hundreds messages and voicemails were left behind. For some reason i decided to listen to them. But i immediately broke down after the first one. After some time off listening to the voicemails, i finally reached the end. 

When i turned on my computer, it was completely overloaded with emails, ads and other stuff. I decided to turn on the news to see what happened for the past few months. The first thing that showed up was Gabriel Agreste getting arrested. My mind switched to Adrien. Why didn't he say anything about it when he visited me in the hospital? The second thing that popped up was my return. My heart warmed at all the support from the people. But i still couldn't help to worry about Adrien.

Later that evening, i decided to finally go to bed. When i changed into my pyjamas, i snuck under my sheets. Duusuu and Tikki were already asleep but i wasn't. I couldn't sleep at all. After some time of tossing and turning, i rose up from my bed and went to my balcony. Collecting my thoughts, i started at the beautiful sight of Paris. But something felt off.. Slight noises sounded around me but i didn't find anything, untill a certain figure landed besides me. I got startled at the sudden appearance. My hands quickly grabbed a flowerpot and threatened to throw at the figure. "Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you!" the creature said with his hands in the air. That was when i realized that it was Cat Noir!

"Cat Noir!" I squinted my eyes. He was barely visible due to the insufficiant light. Cat Noir's face lit up when i said his name. "Marinette!" he said with a wide smile. Without hesitation, i jumped into his arms and he immediately gave in to the hug.
