The Middle (Ben Hanscom x Reader)

Y/N POV
We go to catch up with the group and walk out to see the tall boy standing at the entrance of an alley. We both walk towards him to go and talk.

He pulls out the money from his pocket and hands it towards us, "um, t-thanks."

We both hold up our own separate cigarette packs and Bev speaks, "even Steven."

"Oh, God, he's bleeding. Oh, my God," we hear.

Bev looks towards them, grabbing my hand to pull me with her.

"Ben from soc?"

"You have to suck the wound before you apply the band-aids. This is 101."

"You don't know what you're talking about."

We both walk up to them, with the tall boy following. She looks at Ben's injuries with a worried look and says, "are you okay? That looks like it hurts."

"Oh. No, I'm good. I just... fell," Ben replied.

"Yeah. Right into Henry Bowers," the one with glasses says in a snarky way. I roll my eyes at the thought of Bowers. He such a major asshole.

"Shut it, Richie," the tall boy says.

"Why? It's the truth," Richie says to him as Ben shrugs.

"You sure they got the right stuff to fix you up," Bev asks with a smile.

"You know, w-we'll take care of him. Uh, t-thanks again, you t-two."

"Sure. Maybe we'll see you around."

"Yeah, we were t-thinking about going to the q-quarry t-t-tomorrow, if you two wanna c-come."

"Good to know. Thanks," she smiles and then we walk away.

We walk back to our apartment building and somewhat try or unwind.

"What's your dad gonna say about y'know," I say.

"Honestly, I don't know and I don't think I want to know. You know how he is."

"Yeah I do. Try to stay safe okay?"

"I will. Thanks Y/N."

We wave goodbye to each other and go to our apartments.

Third Person
"Who's first," Y/N & Beverly heard as they dropped their bikes.

"We'll go," Y/N says as the guys turn around. The two are undressed and run off the cliff yelling 'sissies' as they jump off the cliff together.

They both smile at each other with their hair slightly wet.

"Come on," Bev yells.

"We're waiting for you," Y/N yells after.

Then one by one all of the boys come down. They all then splash each other with the water and talk. They then decide to try and push others off the shoulder of the ones who decided to be the bottom. Everyone but Y/N decide to play while she decides to go explore the water more. Suddenly Y/N gets pulled down by something while she was in a corner. She starts flailing not realizing what it was or more so not knowing. She opens her eyes from under water and see a clown with sharp teeth and a random red balloon above her when she looked up. She tried to scream but nothing came out

"Y/N," Beverly called out and looked around for her. Bev then saw the flailing and swam over with the boys realizing and swimming over after.
