"𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗗𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗦𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗?" Lip ascended from the corridor and placed a mounted laundry basket full of a plethora of different t-shirt's onto the edge of his desk, while Spencer was still enthralled in her notebook and the sketches that were slowly canvassing a large proportion of it.

During her session at group, her guidance counsellor, who was right in the gulf of a very very concerning late mid life crisis, had assigned them all with the task of illustrating their struggles. Because according to her deep research on the matter, the ultimate way to rid your traumas and struggles was apparently by spilling it straight onto paper and letting the ink bleed till the image becomes visceral and tattooed itself and its past memories onto it for all the world to see.

And Spencer got that, to some extent. Having done art and been a brooding teenager with a notebook and way too much free time at some point, she'd always found a sense of calmness from aggressively scribbling down a bunch of random doodles on the bindings of her work or on the desk whilst sitting in a class. It was a break and it alleviated tension at times. Her dad had said something about how much he liked drawing too when he was younger once. Specifically, comic strips that he'd emulate from old magazine clippings. Happy dystopias. Hero vs Villans. Anything that would propel him out of whatever struggles he was facing. And maybe she'd picked up that attribute from him as well. Hiding feelings through different channels.
