𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘'𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 about going out of your comfort zone. Once you make the leap, traipsing back into it was a lot harder than it assumingly would be. A perfect example? Talking to teachers about issues that went beyond the realms of the classroom. Life issues, personal issues and college issues all included.

Her notions were rather trite, extreme even. If you spoke to the right teacher or caught them during a period where they weren't in extensional dread about their job, then they wouldn't turn away from helping. That was what they were paid to do after all. To guide, to teach, and in some intense cases, become second parents.

The issue for Spencer, however, laid more with teacher reception over things that she did. The after-math after trying to finish an essay about a topic they'd repeated in their syllabus at least 10 times already, or, a lab with intricate mechanisms that was worth at least half if not more then half of your grade. And at large, you're average. All these numbers stacking up to help a couple admissions board members determine their decision on whether or not you're worthy of a place at their establishment. Of course, not without the added bonus of an external essay pleading your case in lieu with a random topic.

Spencer hadn't wanted to go to college at first. In fact, she'd pretty much mapped out the rest of her life from the moment she'd hit high school four years ago. Get into school, try not to skip, tough out the 11th Grade and if worst comes to ware, bow out respectfully in the second quarter. But then she met her art teacher, and her objectives drastically changed.
