Part 3 - The First Day

"Now I don't like you. We're not friends."

Yn's pov:

The next morning, my alarm went off at exactly 6:00am and it being as far away as it could and forcing me out of bed worked. For once in my life I woke up early and no one need to wake me up. I hopped out of bed and quickly got dressed ready for my first day. I am excited to see what the day brings and how many people I would meet. It took 20 minutes to make sure I had everything in my bag and I was dressed neatly. I looked over to Hermione's bed to see that she was still sleeping. I walk over to wake her up and thankfully she didn't take long to wake up only 10 minutes. Once she was dressed and ready to go, we walked to the great hall. The great hall took ages to get to. Especially as we don't know our way around the school yet. When I walked in I noticed Harry and Ron weren't there. I guess they must still be asleep but they are going to be late if they don't wake up now. I went and sat down at the table as me and Hermione started to plan our day ahead of time. First we would complete our lessons after we would head straight to the library to find a way I could do magic we would also do any homework we get today in there and then 20 minutes until dinner we would leave and go to dinner. Me and Hermione quickly eat our breakfast and grab our time tables that had already been handed out. Our day was filled with:

Monday

07:30-9:00 Breakfast
09:00-10:00 Transfiguration
10:00-11:00 Transfiguration
11:00-11:15 Break
11:15-12:15 Potions
12:15-13:15 Lunch
13:15-14:15 Flying
14:15-14:30 Break
14:30-15:30 Herbology
15:30-18:00 Free time
18:00-19:30 Dinner

"Lets get to first period then seeing as it's already 8:45."Hermione said grabbing my hand and dragging me to transfiguration.

When we got there it was 8:55 and there was no sign of Harry or Ron. We waited for them but at 9:00 Professor Mcgonagall told us to come in and take a seat. I sat in the third column and second row from the front with Hermione on my left. (You = ✅ Hermione = 📖 Draco =🍏 students I haven't met yet = ❌ empty chair = __ )

There were two empty seats at the front for Harry and Ron. Mcgonagall had shown us what we can do with transfiguration by turning herself into a cat. Mcgona-cat sat on her desk watching over us as we jot down notes. Ten minutes into the lesson, McGonagall remained a cat and the doors burst open as Harry and Ron ran in looking as if they had just woke up and instantly ran a marathon. Everyone turned around to see who walked in.

"We made it." Ron said out of breath. "Can you imagine the look on old McGonagall's face if we were late." Ron said as he and Harry approached their seats. McGono-cat jumped off the desk at the front turning back into her natural form. She walked to the boys "That was bloody brilliant." Ron said looking as if he had just seen a dragon hatch.

"Why thank you for that assessment Mr Weasley. Perhaps it would be more useful if I were to transfigure Mr Potter and yourself into a pocket watch. That way one of you might be on time." McGonagall said as i slightly snickered quietly trying not to laugh out loud or I would end up in tears.

"Sorry Professor we got lost." Harry apologised because this was the first time he was ever late to school. Harry has always been on time.

"Well perhaps a map. I trust you don't need on to find your seats." McGonagall said glancing at their seats mentally telling them to sit down. Both Harry and Ron sat down with Harry in front of me and Ron in front of Hermione. ( Ron = 🍗 Harry = 👓)
