today i wanted to go visit my mom. she's literally my soul sister, but.. as a mom of course.
"hey girlll" she said with a huge smile
"omg it smells so good in here"
"and it tastes even better" she said, making us both laugh
if that lady ain't know how to do nothing, she knew how to cook
"soo how have you been" she asked
"i've been better than ever, life finally starts to feel like life again, medical school is going good, just everything"
"that's so good, im so happy you're in a better place, my prayers are really being answered" she said

"are you back dating? or seeing anyone?"

my mom and dad split when i was 7, but my dad still loves him some her. i secretly think she wants him too, but she don't wanna admit it. fuck a nigga named markel, he cool people tho.

i looked down at my phone hearing a notification. the notification was from tae.

i winded up taking a nap and all after eating.

i walked down the stairs to get in my car. once i got in, i texted nee to make sure they was still there.
