"...umm. No. I don't like it."

"But her figure looks amazing in this. What are you talking about?"

This had been going on for the last seven dresses that she had worn but not one of them had achieved the goal of being approved by both her mother and her soon to be mother-in-law.

The two of them communicated well and Mi hi feared if this frankness was okay because they had been openly judging the dresses that she had been trying for them while the concierge had decided to silently play through it.

"Eomma...I think this is nice." She said trying to pacify her mother who was giving a side eye to the dress as she repeatedly shook her head in a negative response.

"It's alright, sweetheart. I have a feeling we are yet to find the perfect dress." Taehyung's mom smiled as she asked her to go try the next one.

The engagement dress and the reception dress didn't take time to sort but the wedding dress seemed to take all the shine. She wished she could just get this over with and go back home. She couldn't wait to just go snuggle in her warm pillows with a warm cup of tea and a book for company.

But as she let the lady staffs help her wear the next dress, she did get a feeling like this was it. The lace bodice of the dress was so flattering on her and even the halter neck line left her clavicle to look so sharp and perfect. The slim cut of the gown as it trailed behind her made her look back to see the ladies giggling as they flashed her heart eyes of approval. She could only wish the two mothers outside would do that as well.

With the curtains drawing, she took a deep breath before looking up at them as they gasped, both alike as they stood up to come near her. Both of them all praises as they flailed their hands over her, holding her and telling her how she looked absolutely angelic and how Taehyung would lose all his wits at her sight. She wished he did.

"You look so beautiful...I can't believe this." Her mom sniffled as she patted her handkerchief under her eyes making Mi hi to stoop a bit to hug her as she tried her best to not cry either. This was like a trigger to her emotional mind where she started sobbing at the slightest thought of her being away from the normalcy of what she had already accepted as life.

Twenty nine years of a life was going to change in mere months after which she would be the daughter-in-law of someone, and wife to a man that she was just starting to know. Her responsibilities would change and there would be more to her as she would voyage through these new relationships but she wanted them, challenges or no.

She wanted to experience this, being a wife, loving someone, taking care of their every need and being loved by them. And she was sure Taehyung was the perfect man for it.
His gestures from the past few weeks had been the tell-tale of it all. Because flower bouquets had not been the only thing that he had been sending. He had been kind enough to send her evening spreads, books that he wanted her to read after long conversations of what all she had not read and of course, music.

What she didn't know was that Taehyung loved music, especially jazz. He had asked her if she was fond of a particular genre to which Mihi had told him that classical was what she had mostly listened to and just like that he had taken it upon himself to educate her in the art of jazz.

Shopping for clothes with two elderly women had been fruitful enough as Mihi smiled at the sight of the concierge leaving bags full of clothes and shoes that the two ladies had chosen for her because weddings would need her to be in places where she had to greet guests. And no woman should need a reason to shop.

Rolling her eyes at the complete mess of a lounge that her house had, she sighed before leaving to her room to freshen up and get rid of the post shopping blues. With her tea, book and the amazing setting of the mood with candles, Mihi settled down at her couch with the throw blanket as she draped it over her legs.
