"Son of a bitch!"

Arya Azael punches the door in frustration, then presses their back to the wall and slides down, laying their head in their knees.

"I hate this damn place!"

Yelena Alton says...

"I know you're there."

Symbiont 658 steps out of the shadows.

Symbiont 658 says...

"Okay, my turn."

Yelena Alton grips the pocket knife firmly in their hand.

Yelena Alton says...

"You could just leave and make this easier, you know right?"

Symbiont 658 says...

"We both know I can't do that."

Symbiont 658 raises its machine gun, and bullets start pelting off the gun.

Yelena Alton dodges the bullets, ducking and jumping, and pulls out their gun.

Yelena Alton slices Symbiont 658's cheek. A single drop of blood trails down.

Symbiont 658 kicks Yelena Alton's stomach. Yelena Alton falls on the ground. Yelena Alton coughs and hacks, their lungs out of air.

Yelena Alton gets up.

Symbiont 658 reaches up to its cheek and touches the blood. It looks at it with wonder before sucking its finger.

Symbiont 658 smiles.

Symbiont 658 says...

"You're so weak."

Yelena Alton charges at Symbiont 658 and shoots Symbiont 658's arm. It spurts blood, spraying everywhere. Symbiont 658 rolls its eyes and cuts the remaining bit of the arm off.

Symbiont 658 approaches Yelena Alton and punches them in the eye.

Yelena Alton stumbles backward and clutches their eye.

Yelena Alton breathes raggedly.

Symbiont 658 kicks Yelena Alton's shoulder.

Yelena Alton falls to the floor, lifeless.

Symbiont 658 smirks, and walks away.

Yelena Alton breathes heavily.

Yelena Alton gets up on one knee.

Yelena Alton says...

"You're not gonna win that easily."

Yelena Alton gets up on both feet and shoots the back of Symbiont 658's head. Symbiont 658 falls to its knees, then on its stomach, its head awkwardly twisted at an angle, blood pooling around its neck.

Yelena Alton collapses onto the floor.

Yelena Alton says...

"Damn, that's pretty gross."

Yelena Alton stays on the ground for a few moments.

Yelena Alton says...

"God, this is tiring."

Yelena Alton chuckles and gets up.

Yelena Alton says...

"What a day."

Yelena Alton rips their shirt.

Yelena Alton dabs her bleeding eye with the cloth.

Yelena Alton says...

"Owwww, that hurts like hell."

Yelena Alton drops the cloth and continues to follow the alleyway.

Yelena Alton finds the back entrance and sighs in relief.

Yelena Alton kicks the door down and takes in the sight. Everything was destroyed and crumbled, and the sun burns down on them. Yelena Alton squints.

Yelena Alton says...
"Well, shit."

Yelena Alton goes straight into the dilapidated lab.

Yelena Alton says...

"Thank God it's still here."

Yelena Alton finds the familiar briefcase.

Yelena Alton says...

"So they couldn't find it, huh?"

Yelena Alton opens the briefcase.

Yelena Alton finds the remaining vials and syringe with two missing, just like they left it.

Yelena Alton says...

"Bingo."

Yelena Alton takes a deep breath.

Yelena Alton says...

"Off to Arya we go."
