Third Person Pov:
"Hello Elijah, Devante. Your both here for Devante's check up correct?" nurse Sandra asked.
"Yea." Elijah said.
"Ok, so Devante I need you to lay in this chair right here and take your shirt off." nurse Sandra said.
"Is taking his shirt off really necessary...?" Elijah asked.
"Well yes, that's the only way I can do the ultrasound." Nurse Sandra said.
Elijah glared at her and rolled his eyes.
Devante took his shirt off and layed on the chair as he was told.
"Ok I'm gonna put some gel on your stomach and it will be cold, just a heads up." Nurse Sandra said.
"That's fine." Devante said.
"Ok let's see.......there's your baby!" Nurse Sandra said.
Both Elijah and Devante stared at the screen.
Devante stared in disgust as Elijah had nothing but love in his eyes.
He couldn't wait to meet "His" baby.
"Would you both like to know the gender?" Nurse Sandra asked.
"No I wanna wait till birth." Elijah said.
Devante looked at him.
"I don't wanna wait though." Devante said.
"Well I really didn't ask so."
"Don't you fucking start with me up in this office Elijah cause I promise you shit will go left." Devante side.
"Uh uh, do not bring your ghetto in here!" Nurse Sandra said.
"You talking hella shit considering all the times I beat yo ass." Elijah said.
"You caught me off guard!"Devante yelled.
"Who are you yelling at!?" Elijah raised his voice now standing up.
"Lord have mercy SECURITY! GET THESE BLACKIES!" Nurse Sandra yelled.
"You wanna cause a fucking scene everywhere we go omfg!" Devante yelled.
"I'm gonna have to ask you both to leave if you continue to yell." A security guard said.
"This doesn't concern you sir." Elijah said.
"Please leave." The gaurd said.
"Yk what let's just go cause my blood pressure already fucking high I don't need to be stressed out even more." Devante said walking out.

"YOU WANNA CAUSE A SCENCE EVERYWHERE WE GO ITS ANNOYING!" Devante yelled.
"WHO ARE YOU TALKING TOO? CAUSE IK IT AINT ME." Elijah yelled back.
"I FUCKING HATE YOU! I DONT WANNA BE IN THIS RELATIONSHIP NO MORE AND YK THAT! BUT YOU KEEP FORCING ME TO STAY!" Devante yelled.
"Devante ATP, shut the hell up talking to me. I'm tired of dealing witchu everyday and you lucky I love you cause I would've killed you by now." Elijah said.
"Love? You love me Elijah? THIS ISNT LOVE! YOU BEAT MY ASS ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY, YOU DONT LET ME LEAVE THE HOUSE EVER, I MIGHT AS WELL BE IN JAIL." Devante yelled.
"Cause you keep tryna leave and I just can't have that." Elijah said.
"yk what, I'm just gonna go upstairs before I kill myself." Devante said.
Devante layed on the bed, he felt like crying.
He hated Elijah, he hated Notti, he hated Shakeem, he even hated himself.
He wonders what his life would've been like if he hadn't met Elijah, or friended Ethan. He probably would've been happy, which is an emotion he hasn't felt in years.
And he really wanted to get an abortion but there was no way that was happening so he had no choice but to be stuck with the baby and the damn father of it.
"God when I go to sleep tonight, PLEASE don't wake me up." Devante said.
As Devante was praying he got a call from Ddot.
"Hey D." Ddot said.
"Hey Ddot." Devante said.
"You alright? Ik your going through a lot rn." Ddot said.
Devante sighed.
"I'm trying to be." Devante said.
"I feel it." Ddot said.
"Can you believe Ethan was the one texting me bro? Omg." Devante said.
"About that, I still don't think it was him." Ddot said.
"Wdym? he admitted to it." Devante said.
"I know but it just doesn't seem like something he would or is capable of doing, I've known him for years his heart is too God for that." Ddot said.
"So who do you think did it?" Devante asked.
"I mean I don't wanna point fingers but Jay been acting pretty weird towards you especially whenever you bring up Elijah." Ddot said.
"So you think it's him?" Devante asked.
"I mean ion know for sure, but I'm just looking back at everything and shit ain't adding up." Ddot said.
